Summary: The absolute best Harry Potter book
Review: I couldn't believe what I was reading. She really seemed to put everything she could in that book. I really loved it because it seemed to thicken the plot and add more deepth to Harry's life. It was also nice how she put in all his troubles, in his school life, his love life, and his everyday life. She also continues to find a way to include humor in even the darkest and most horrible situations with Ron. I was very upset at the end, but all in all it was the best Harry Potter book she has written yet. I can't wait for the next trip from Platform 9 3/4.

Summary: The Best!
Review: Wow! This book was definitely interesting. The big upside is that the book kept you turn pages. The 4th book took me forever to read all because it hit a lot of slow point...especially the painful beginning! After I got through that it was enjoyable, but the 5th kept me going and going. I went on a road trip that was about 3 hours down and 3 hours back. I read the whole time and I managed to read 300 pages. I'm a moderate reader, but I'm proud to say I finished it in 4 days! His reaction to Cho was very unexpected and made me a little furious that it didn't work out. Oh, well! He'll get the next one right hopefully! With this new prophecy made it take a whole new prespective on it.

Summary: The Heart & Soul of Harry Potter Captured In a Single Voice
Review: I just want to say thank you to Jim Dale for his work on all the HP books. It is like a merging of the literary and the live-action done splendidly! As if you are hearing a play acted out. He gives such distinction to all the characters, you don't have to think twice about which character's voice you are hearing at any given moment. My favorite being his perfect rendition of the sultry sexy voice of Severus Snape. Through Jim Dale's readings I believe you can gain valuable insight to the mysteries yet to be solved within JKR's story. I doubt I would have formed some of the theories I have on the evolution of certain characters without hearing Jim's voice. Even if you already own the hardcover edition of this or any of the other 4 HP books I highly recommend picking up the audio books as well!

Summary: Not the best but better than the first one
Review: I have been waiting for the 5th book for about 2 years and then i finally heard it was coming out June 21, 2003 i was so excited. It finally came out we bought 2 one for me and one for my sister. I read it in four days it was ok but the 3rd and the 4th was better. With the 4th one you just had to keep reading and reading. Ou had to fin what was happening next with the Triwizard Tournement. Mrs. Umbrigde is crule mean and evil. J.K. Rowling shouldn't have used her as much as she did. With her being in charge most of the book come on Rowling this book i thought should have been better. More about Voldemort trying to kill harry the book was not as good as the 4th and the 3rd. I say it was about the same rating i would give the Chamber of Secrets. This book was ok but not really really good

Summary: Five Stars For # 5.
Review: Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix... after waiting 2 years for the next enstallment, I am here to say it was well worth the wait!

After recieving the book in the mail, I read all 870 pages in one day. I found myself immediatly emmerged in a flow of new information- and the return of several old friends- within the first few chapters. Unlike previous books in the series, Harry is now potrayed at his most vulnerable, which for me, made him all the more lovable and easy to relate to. His anger, love, confusion, and self-questioning drew me in to the world of Hogwarts. Rather than the home-away from the horror of the Dursleys, I found Hogwarts in turmoil with the troubles of the Dark Lord lurking just below the surface. As the end drew closer and terror nearer, I was on the edge of my seat, soon shocked and teary... rather than spoil the end, all I can say is READ THE BOOK.

From page one, this book in a winner. I can only hope that the six one comes faster and as thoroughly entertaining as the last five have been.

Summary: Dark, Meaningful, yet Satisfying
Review: This book was very good, yet depressing at several parts. I think the Order of the Phoenix is the best of the series, followed by a close second of the 3rd book. It went in deeper than the other books, which were more playful and fun than this one. It showed more about how Harry was growing into his teenage years, and all the anger and emptiness he had. I love the Harry Potter Series, and can't wait for more BUT I have a few complaints. First of all, a wonderful character dies, to my complete disliking. It did have some drone on at parts, and was more serious. But mainly, Draco Malfoy was hardly present at all. He is one of the more trivial and controversal characters, and jazzes up the book. Otherwise, I recommend this book to a 7 year old to loves to read or a 90 year old fan of Harry Potter. In other words, anybody and everybody should read this book.

Summary: The best so far
Review: I didn't begin reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix until two days, due to the fact that I was rereading book 4 having forgotten many important parts. However, after starting book 5, I couldn't put it down. I opened it expecting a great book, but I honestly didn't expect it to be as good as it was! Rowling changed her style of writing somewhat, which I thought was a nice change. Also, the characters have really developed. Harry has moved on from the adolescent, pre-teen stage he seemed to have been stuck in, and he is finally becomming a teenager with the constant mood swings, realizing that not everything was exactly as he thought it was (his dad , for example), having no clue what to do on a date, and, of course, the homework and exams. It was a little on the long side, but I don't think it would have been the same book if the little sub plots hadn't been in there, because they are what make the book. All in all, this book was by far, in my opinion, the best book in the series so far and I definitely recommend it to anyone!

Summary: New Harry Potter Book Blows the Planet Away!!
Review: I was engrossed in this new thriller before I even started to read it! After reading the first four books, I fell in love with the characters. Rowling writes things in her books that I can't help but get emotional about! She turns just another fictional idea into a reality that literally blows the reader away. She makes the books so irresistable that you can't help but keep wanting to turn the page! I read this book in two days! I got it the day it was mailed! I couldn't help but feel like I was next to the characters throughout the book! She is a wonderful writer who can make fictional characters come to life before the readers' eyes. I used to be just an avid reader, but Rowling's books have made me hungry for the adventures she describes in her books. She has given me a reason to read and explore. She has given me a world I could have never dreamed of! Her books are truly an adventure and no writer could top that if they tried! Keep writing, J.K., keep writing!!!

Summary: To Adults and Christians (esp the Pope)
Review: Another review praising young Potter, you say? Well, yes. Yes it is. But there's one important thing i wanna tell adult audiences or christians who're skeptical about giving our Harry a go - and i know some of both these sorts.

Adults - i urge you, this is NOT a kid's book! Well, it is, but its not JUST that. Firstly, its all-story. If you hate reading the kind of labourious over-thought trying-too-hard novels, if you ever want to just put your feet up and have fun after a hard day of work, or if you want to remember what it felt like to be young - HARRY HARRY HARRY! My little sisters finally convinced me to try Harry for myself after i'd finished high school, all the gruelling leaving exams we have here in Australia - and oh my god! It was the best thing i ever did. Harry Potter reminded me that books could be fun - that they were supposed to be entertaining. Rowling has done an amazing thing - she's found a voice and vocabulary that people of literally all age groups can get into and love. I tip my hat to her ceaselessly.

Christians - the most important thing for you guys to do is lighten up. Harry is about fun. If anything, Harry reasserts your rigid ideas of good and evil. Witchcraft is not real - hate to break it to you! Its a fantasy novel, and its immensely fun!
Lastly, just because the pope tells you not to read something - watchu gonna do - believe him? Believe everything the pope says? Damn it - give Harry a go yourself. Try him out - and judge for yourself. If you're going to be religious, at least have the courage to form your own opinions about non-Biblical things.

I just wanna say - Hi Harry from Australia - the place where Dorothy's fantasies are real! We love you down here, Harry - and Ron! You legends!

Oh, and finally - don't be put off by the kids school play acting of the movies - the books are the best - if you didn't read Harry before the movies came out you won't be able to help picturing Daniel, Rupert and Emma as the three young wizards, but that won't hurt. Long as its you delivering the lines, not them.
