Summary: Feel let down!
Review: This book was really bad. I am 10 years old and a great Harry Potter fan. This book was disappointing because it was not up to the standard of JK Rowling's other books. For one, it was too long and had a lacklustre beginning. And then, there was a lot of repetition of plots and ideas. I plan to write my thoughts to JK Rowling because it was so bad and felt extremely let down.

Summary: A Decent Enough book, but...
Review: Lets get something straight, o.k.? The books seem to be getting worse are they not? The plot is getting a little too weak, and the romance might be getting a little too high. Harry Potter has a crush, how cute...NOT! Its not bad for Harry to be doing this but The author seems to be telling the world that there will be more love in the book. I fear that there just might be a little too much love. I highly doubt that any child wants Harry Potter to become a love story. The plot is also getting weaker. Now I understand that it is fantasy but there are a couple of big things in the book that are misleading. Not in a good, twisted way, but in a way that where facts just dont seem to add up. It was a pretty good book. I was bored through much of it but the last few chapter were really exciting. At the last chapter they talk about some kind of war, there is no war. The action isnt bad but it doesnt manage to keep the audience hooked. Instead the author tells the reader many unimportant facts to make the book longer. The book also focuses too much on the new defense against the dark arts teacher instead on what needs to be done. This is exactly why the book is decent and not excellnt like the first three.

Summary: Oh my this is the best
Review: When i read book i feel happy and the end most of the time. But this is one of those books that make ou cry and wish that you could be the writer and change what had just happend. I couldn't put this book down. hours past and still had the book open. i just love the way you can just read the book all day and all night and still be intersted in it. When I read the sad ending i started crying for i really hoped it would have been someone different.
Many great things are found out in this book. All Harry's questions are getting there answers. and now you start to fully see everything. They way the book is writen the pictures are just going off madly in your mind. I can't wait for the 6th book

Summary: J.K.'s best yet
Review: Well, I've read all of the Harry Potter books thus far and they have all been phenominal. I thought this was the best one so far and thought it had great moments. I wish it was longer though, I finished and wanted more! Just goes to show how captivating and addictive these books are. I can't wait for the 6th book to come out and hope she keeps em comin!

Summary: Pass the scissors, please.
Review: In spite of its success, this book is a pretty mediocre example of so-called "literature." With yet another completely predictable plot, J.K. Rowling seems as if with every chapter she writes she is attempting to force a couple hundred more pages out of the concept. I admit, there are several well done passages, but that's like eating an entire pot of raw eels in order to have a cherry for dessert. In the beginning of the novel, the story line actually seems rather interesting and well thought out, but then there ends up being no actual plot, besides the obligatory face-off with Voldemort--which has become so obvious by now that there's almost no point in reading the book if that's all you have to look forward to. The pacing is remarkably slow for a book that supposedly is "suspenseful" and "thrilling." And, like the cheerful optimist I am, throughout the book I find myself wishing for the demise of Harry, Hermione, Dumbledore, Tonks, and just about everyone except Ron, since he is basically a witless fop who doesn't really affect the story at all. So do yourself a favor, and refrain from wasting your mind on a dull piece of media hype like this. Call me a defeatist, but children's literature is going down the drain, into the sewer and ending up clogging the pipes.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Review: I LOVED Rowling's fifth book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was a great continuation of the series, and my favorite out of the five written so far. In the OotP, Harry becomes a bit moodier, but hey, he's 15. The plot is great, as usual, and is beautifully written. Read it!

Summary: It IS GREAT!! Here's why!
Review: The book was awesome! Who cares if it took awhile for them to get to Hogwarts. It's a book you see.. Not a movie.. YOU HEAR ME! Say it with me ** Not a mooovie**.. Books are aloud to be long, and detailed. It makes it more intresting. Not to mention, if you don't feel like reading anymore, you can always set the book down.. What do you want JK to do, Skip the important stuff and get right to the action.. You need to know all that's going in this book, to know what's going on in the second one. Are you a writer of a famous book? Did you spind a year and a half writeing everyday for 18 hours a day? And is this your emagination? I think NOT! So, I love All the harry potter books, I appreciate what JK has done for my enjoyment. I love HP and always will.. Peace out people!!! ^_~ :)

Summary: Potter is success
Review: I don't understand why people can't stand the book and that its aweful...yes it does take a while but you can't just ship him off to school without knowing what happens. i love this book, the third one and the fifth one are the most interesting. so get over the fact that yes it does take a while but you have to know whats going on before you actually read about him in school. i think that this is a great book and look foward to the sixth one...she did a good job.

Summary: super book
Review: this is an absolutely super book and like the others the more the plot thickens the harder it is to put down, im currently reading it and have only a few chapters to go
j.k rowling is a super author and has a fine abilty to write for adults and children alike.
shame the films dont do the books justice!

Summary: Not as best as the others
Review: The Order of the Phoenix, to me, was quite depressing. Usually when I have read a Harry Potter book, I feel more anxious, adventurous, and happy at the end. However, in this book, nothing seemed to go right whatsoever on the happy part. However, at the end of the book is when the battle really gave a turn in the book, that only a real genius of imagination could come up with.
The book was excellent overall, but a few things were hard to understand. (Ex. harry's scar). I cannot wait till the next book comes out. Hopefully it will bring a more positive feeling.
