Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Disappointing
Review: I found this book to be rather dull and disappointing. It had a lot of wordy bits which meant nothing to advance the story and when you thought something exciting was going to happen, nothing did.

Read only if you have nothing else to read.

Summary: Must read
Review: The first time i read this book I was about 13 years old. A couple of years passed and this year I found the book again in my school library, remembered vaguely that i enjoyed it and decided to borrow it again.
I finished it in two days because I couldn't stop reading it. Maybe one of the reasons I enjoyed this book so much was because it's descriptive, but not in a boring way, instead in the way so you can imagine what the characters are like perfectly in your mind. It's quite a dark novel, and as I read it i almost imagined it as a film in my mind as a kind of drug + violence movie. The characters are highly likeable (all except for Daniel, who you're not supposed to like anyway)and sound as though they could be real people, nothing about them is too far fetched, though some of the things they do are quite disturbing and shocking. The story is about 19 year old Louie, who meets Sasha, Flynn, Hastings and 'the handbrake' (hasting's girlfriend as nicknamed by sasha) through her first boyfriend Andy. They run a drug dealing business, but also are professional theieves. Louie is curious to know everything that they do, eager to learn and be accepted and she by her own will is involved in a few of their scandals. At the same time the story of Sasha's sister Alex and Daniel the boyfirned she meets at a pub is being told and eventually the two stories join up. I found this book to be a very very good read, unable to put it down and drawn to it's dark, disturbing but at times funny, always well written quality.
