Review: This the first book I've read by Ms. Lippman and I came away quite impressed. She does an excellent job of crafting the mystery ( a seemingly unrelated string of homicides). P.I. Tess Monahan is real person - ie. she has flaws and demons. The writing is excellent.

Review: With out giving a a synopsis of the story, I'll say this is one of the best series going. I picked up EVERY SECRET THING, really liked it and started to read the series. The stories are excellent. THE LAST PLACE is a real page turner, the writing is above average and the story kept me interested to the point I finally gaveup trying to do anything and finished the book. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
