Rating: Summary: The Path to Wholeness by Carol Tuttle Review: This book is the first book I've come acrossed that handles such a sensitive subject in a most sensitive yet straight forward way, and includes all aspects to healing such wounds. Other books I've read are partial paths to wholeness focussing on just the emotional healing or co-dependency issues or even the very ugly descriptive details of such abuse which I don't see how reading such things could actually do anything for healing. Such books include "The courage to heal" which appearantly is written by two lesbians. Carol's book deals with all aspects that effect a wholeness of healing, including spiritual healing which is so essential to complete recovery. I can't say enough about how helpful this book is for those who seek a more spiritual and complete path to recovery from abuse. Although it focuses on sexual abuse, the techniques described in this book can be used to heal from many other types of abuse and change dysfunctional behaviors that have contributed to so many sorrows and tragedies in our society today. I don't claim to be a professional, I'm only a survivor and an affiliate survivor and I want to get my hands on as many copies of this book that I can. I have had many friends over the years that need to hear what Carol Tuttle has to say on this subject and I'm heartbroken that the book distributors are telling me that the publisher has put this book out of print! My review is a message to other abuse survivors as well as a message to the publisher, WE NEED MORE BOOKS PRINTED AND MORE SURVIVORS NEED TO KNOW THIS BOOK IS OUT THERE!
