Summary: Yes, no one wants their loved ones to die...
Review: "Don't Die, My Love" has got to be the best Lurlene McDaniel book. If you read this book, I suggest you have a box of tissue handy. How can a sweet, young, innocent guy get cancer at such a young age? I wish someone could answer that question. Luke and Julie seemed like the best couple ever and I can't believe the both of them (and their friends and family) had to go through this tragedy to realize how life is so precious and you shouldn't waste your life on insignificant matters. You will cry your eyes out because the fisrt time i read it, I was in 6th grade. Now I'm a 10th grader and it still brings tears to my eyes when I read it. The characters in this book is unforgettable. At least to me. The relationship Luke and Julie had was a strong one and they wouldn't let cancer get in the way. Life is for the living and make the most of what you got. That's the moral that I got form this book. This book is too good to be true but don't take my word for it. Read it yourself and don't forget the box of tissues!

Summary: The best of Lurlene McDaniel
Review: Don't Die My Love is one of the first books I ever read by Lurlene McDaniel. And to this day it is still my favorite. I began reading her books when I was in Middle School and now I am 23 years old and still rereading her books. I am now collecting her series in order to keep them in my classroom when I become a Middle School Teacher. This book helps to teach about Leukemia and also about teenage love. Julie and Luke are very realistic characters. I also believe it's good for teens to be able to read stories that open their awareness. Many of McDaniel's books helped me become more aware of myself and how I treated others. I hope that she continues to extend these messages to young people through her writing. Don't Die My Love is a truly inspirational story.

Summary: Hmmmm...
Review: First of all seeing all the titles that Lurlene Mcdaniels wrote is a bit scary, they all pretty much have to do with death. however i saw that many people liked it so i bought it. it was DEFINETLY sad. but such a great bittersweet ending. although i didn't exactly like reading about Luke's illness, i couldn't put it down. It is pretty good though. Good enough to try out another of McDaniel's books.

Summary: A sad but awesome romance novel
Review: I was walking in abookstore one day, then I saw this book on a shelf full of Young Adult Fiction books. I read the back of the book and it seemed pretty nice to read, so I bought it. When I read it at home the next day, I was soooooooooooo captivated by it. When I got to the end, the part where Luke goes into the Operation room, I could feel my tears start to well up. I was really weeping by the time I had completed the book. My Numder One fav part of the book was when Julie saw the whole field of tulips that formed the words 'I love you'. I was so touched. If you're looking for a book to read, I seriously recommend it. It is really really good.

Summary: Don't Die, My Love
Review: Julie Ellis and Luke Muldenhower have been together since the eighth grade. Now they are in high school and are deeply in love. Luke is a football player, whose coach is Julie's father. Luke is about to receive an athletic scholarship to a top college and is very excited about it.
All of a sudden, Luke gets an infection inside his body and Julie commands him to go see a doctor, who tells him that what he's seeing doesn't look right and that Luke's infection is more than what he thinks. As the days at the hospital passed by, things with Luke's body grew and everything about it worries Julie too much. All Julie wants right now is for everything to be fine in the end. But will she get what she wishes for?
"Don't Die, My Love" is a wonderful, romantic, and realistic fiction story that brings out all of the deep feelings of two teenagers in love. It is a great book for those who love the realistic plots and for those who love romance.

Review: This book is my favorite book of Lurlene McDaniel's. I read it in three hours straight. I cried for an hour, at least. I loved how Julie stuck by and took care of Luke. My favorite part was at the end when she went to the football field and saw the tulips Luke had planted that spelled out "I Love You"! That was sooooo sweet. I've loaned this book out to many of my friends. It is a wonderful, romantic, sad, book. The best books are the ones you can't put down. This was one of those book
