Rating: Summary: Another great book by C Camp Review: Promise Me Tomorrow is an absolutely wonderful book. The storyline is great and the characters are well developed. You will fall in love with them! Once again Ms. Camp has told a story about a young lady who can stand on her own. It is so nice to read about a woman who is not weak or timid. Marianne has a mind of her own and uses it well. I don't want to tell too much of the story because I don't want to give anything away. This is definitely a must read book by a wonderful author. This is a fast-paced read that will keep you up at night until you're finished!
Rating: Summary: Not nearly as good as Book #1.... Review: The basic plotline of these books is great: 3 siblings go missing after their parents are killed in France. When they are adults, their grandmother begins a search for them and each one's story is a book in this trilogy. The first book about the youngest child, Alexandra, was excellent. She was a fabulous heroine who gave the hero, Thorpe, a run for his money. Promise Me Tomorrow was not nearly as intriguing but it did have its good points: the storyline was excellent, the pace was very fast, in fact, it was a page turner. But the characters were a little flat and not developed enough even though they were very likable. There was good chemistry between hero Justin and heroine Marianne and the romance scenes were hot! But this story just didn't have the depth achieved in the first one. Ms. Camp has given us a preview of Book #3 at the end of this one, which will of course feature sibling number three, John. He already made a brief appearance in this book (near the end). See if you can guess which one he was. And it looks like his love interest will be the ever-likable Nicola, who appeared in this book and the first one. I'll be looking forward to reading the next book because this one just wasn't up to snuff.
Rating: Summary: Promise Me Tomorrow Review: This is the second book of a 3-book series. The first one is "A stolen heart" and the third book is "No other love". The characters of her books are vividly written and seemingly alive. I have read all three and this book is just incredible. The story of the series is about three brother and sisters who were separated since they were young. Will they find each other? Read the whole series and find out for yourself.
