Review: Terry Tempest Williams' "Coyotes' Canyon" was an unexpected library find that became a wonderful gift I will always remember. Many of her passages are now a permanent part of my psyche. As a gifted and knowing storyteller, Williams' naturalist background, anthropological bent and mythological spirit weave together stories of landscape, culture, myth and personal experience in a highly memorable manner that soothes, instructs, and changes you. Additionally, her "Anglo" voice (as described by AudioFile) is the complementary catalyst that imprints her stories on the soul. If you can find this tape, buy it!
