Understanding the New Age

Summary: This book should be called "Attacking the New Age"
Review: This whole book is pretty much an attack on the New Age movement by an author who is obviously heavily influenced by Christian bias. What angered me most about this book was that the author was lumping Christian sects that he did not agree with into New Age (ie. Mormons). I can tell you one thing is definately sure, Mormons are not New Age! This whole book was attacking all the faults of New Age - some of which were valid, but the author does nothing to point out the positive influences of New Age. I was very disappointed with this book. I would enjoyed a more "balanced" book.
