Summary: A true tale of romance and devotion, makes you laugh and cry
Review: This is one of the best books I have ever read. I read it as an impressionable teenager and Amazon managed to source the book (although it is out of print). Having re-read it, 15 years later, I see that it has left a lasting impression on me and that I have lived my life with some of the ideals left to me in Delderfield's magical story.
