Summary: h surfer review
Review: Cristina, Tucker, Cody, and Becca are about to undergo the biggest change in their lives. Tucker and Cristina have been going out since eigth grade, and becca and cody since tenth. they are all best friends, and one night after a football party in another town, they hit black ice because of another driver and the law of right hand passing, and they swerve of the rode into a ditch. No one was wearing a seatbelt except for tucker and as a result crisitina is dead, cody is in a coma, and tucker and becca have to live on. this book shows how life can change for everyone in a few short seconds and how it effects the different people.
Telling Cristina goodbye is a perfect compelling novel that shows a different life. it pulls the reader in the story and lets them live the life of each of the characters and shows how different things can alture the way of life for everyone.
I recommend this book to anyone who is willing to learn a hard lesson about friendship, death, and overcoming the loss of things.

Review: I thought this was a good book for friends to read together. It showed how much you would miss a friend if they died. It also showed the meaning of friendship and loyalty. If you and a friend are looking for a book to read together this would be an awesome book to choose.

Summary: Not so great...
Review: I'm really shocked that every single customer review on this site is so supportive and loving of it. To be honest, I was extremely disappointed and unimpressed with "Telling Christina Goodbye". I am an avid, insane reader and I have been known to cry if a book touches me, but this one had no effect on me. It felt like the author was constantly trying to teach me a lesson, and not subtly. The storyline didn't have much depth and you never really know why they are supposed to care so deeply with each other. The characters are unrealistic and did not resonate with me at all. So, I felt that I should put my opinion in to let potential customers know that it might not be as great as these other reviewers think. I truly wish I hadn't wasted five dollars on it.

Summary: This book is great!
Review: My favorite book that I have read in the last two months is Telling Christina Goodbye. It was the first book I read that was written by Lurlene McDaniel. I have started reading her other books because of Telling Christina Goodbye. Even though it was sad, I still enjoyed it. The story plot is that Trisha, Christina, Tucker, and Cody were riding in a car and they crashed. The story is about how Cody, Tucker, and Trisha get over the terrible tragedy of Christina's death. None of those people in the car crash will forget that night. It was an excellent story. This story taught me to appreciate life and friends.

Summary: Another Great McDaniel Book
Review: Telling Christina Good-bye is another great book by Lurlene McDaniel. All of her books are really good, but in this one you could really identify with the main character, Trisha, as she struggles to "say good-bye" to her best friend by holding on to the memories she has. In the book you feel the pain and hurt when her boyfried doesn't recoginize her, and you can relate to how she is always there to help her best friend deal with her not-so-nice boyfriend. The reader can also feel Trisha's shock when she finds out the accident was really Tucker's fault and in a way Christina's. McDaniel rights stronly about an everyday girl whose life is turned around when a car accident leaves her injured, her boyfriend in a coma, and her best friend dead. This strays from the topic of illness that her books are normally about, but she still keeps the idea about death and how percious our life really is. If anything her point comes through stronger in this novel because the character that died didn't have the prolonged death and chance to say good-bye that most dying characters normally have in her books. The book shows how you that life can be normal one minuet and change in a split second, nevering being the same again.

Summary: The Best Book Ever!
Review: Telling Christina Goodbye by Lurlene McDaniel is a great book. Christina and her boyfriend Tucker, Trisha her best friend, and Trisha's boyfriend go to a basketball game. Tucker gets in a fight and they all get kicked out of the gym. When they leave the parking lot this car on the right side of them start making trouble so Tucker tried to drive faster away but inside they hit a patch of ice and skid. To find out what happens, read Telling Christina Goodbye because I know that you would like just as much as I did!

Summary: My View On "Telling Christina Goodbye"
Review: Telling Christina Goodbye is one of the greatest books ever! I think Lurlene McDaniel is a realy good writer. I've also read other books that she has written, such as, Six Months to Live and all the sequels to that book. These books teach not only adults, but kids (ages 12-18) to appreciate life, friends, family, and all things God has given you. Reading this book (Telling Christina Goodbye) made me feel like I was part of the story. Tucker has not really shown Trisha love for Christina. But Trisha's boyfriend, Cody, has for Trisha. Trisha wishes that Tucker would treat Christina like Cody treats her. But somehow she just can't get him to do that. But in the end Tucker has learned a valuable lesson. But I'm not going to tell you that lesson exactly 'cause the book itself does not tell the lesson "you" yourself have to figure out that lesson. I know this is a long review but I wanted to add in more of my words for Lurlene McDaniel. Lurlene McDaniel is a FABULOUS writer. Thank You!

Summary: Telling Christina Goodbye
Review: The book "Telling Christina Goodbye" by: Lurlene McDaniel was a tremendous book. This book is not only sad, but its also very uplifting. The fact that this group: Cody, Trisha, Christina, and Tucker, are as close as they are, makes this book bring you to tears.
A little about the book: The car accident that they got into ruined every single one of their lives. The accident left Cody in coma, Christina dead, and Trisha wounded, yet Tucker was fine. Trisha had a hard time moving on from Christinas death, and had been waiting for Cody to wake up. As Tucker had been walking around, everyone blaming him for his girlfriends (Christinas) death. When Cody woke up he didn't remember Trisha (his girlfriend). Trisha had to work on it until Cody started to remember her, and fall in love with her again. Trisha made a new friend Abby, and they became close. Abby understood how it felt to be in Trishas place, because she had lost her brother in a car accident just a few years before.
This book is very uplifting because it makes you realize that you can't stay stuck in nuetral, you got to move on with life. No matter what happens, don't forget the memories but also, make new ones.
Any book of Lurlene McDaniels, can bring you to tears yet lift you up. If you get a chance, read one of them.

Summary: A Great Book
Review: The book I read was called "Telling Christina Boodbye." I liked the book cause it involes Three teenagers. What I did not like about the book was when they get into a car accident and other things happen. The characters are christina, Tuck, Tori, Cody.It all started when Tuck was driving homee from a basketball game. Christina was seating on the pasenger side and tori and cody were seating in the back. It was cold and icy. People in front them were driving all crazy so tuck decided to pass them when he was going hey had slipped on black ice and rolled down the hill like about 3 to 4 times. Tuck and Tori walked away and cody was in a comma and Christina had died. Things went different between them cause Cody couldn't remember anything not even His own girlfriend. Tuck still thinking about Christina. Tori became strong and finished Chirstina's work and all. I think people should read this book cause its interesting and sad. The author wrote a pretty good book, and I enjoyed reading it. I hope to read more books she wrote.
