Summary: Truly A Perfect Pacifier!
Review: I picked up Volume 3 of this tape from a used book store (does that mean there are others available??) and am now going to purchase a new one because our son goes to sleep every night with this music on. I want to be sure we have another one in case the first one breaks! He has been listening to this tape since he was born and is now three months old. I put it in his tape player/nightlight and he falls asleep looking at the light and listening to the tape. RARELY cries. I just tried a different CD also for babies and he cried and cried. When I put this tape on, he settled right down.

The tape is one long piece, with different songs woven together. The only ones I recognize are "Are You Sleeping" and "Twinkle Twinkle" but all the songs are at a slow tempo, and they match the speed of the heart beat that is played over the music. It's a little bit freaky to be listening to someone's heartbeat like that, but I'm sure it's what a baby is used to.

The tape is about 25 minutes each side. The music fades in at the beginning and fades out at the end. It's relaxing and beautiful. I would highly recommend this tape, especially for a newborn!
