Review: book 5 is a definate improvement from book 4. Mia's back, and ready to turn 15. Now that she knows her "secret talent" is writing, she has joined the newspaper staff at her school. Meanwhile, she is thrilled to go to the Prom with her senior boyfriend Michael....until he reveals that he thinks dances are lame. Meanwhile, the entire workers union in New York is on strike after another mishap involving Grandmere and Rommel the OCD poodle sparks a protest. Lily is putting all her relationships at risk when she dumps Boris to pursue a foreign busboy......and how can Mia even hope to attend the prom if it gets cancelled? This book is right back on track with Mia's hilarious diary.

Summary: Hilarious Addition to the Series
Review: Everyone's favorite Princess, Mia Thermopolis, is back, and better than ever. After waiting five long years to see Mia finally hit 15-years-old, the time has come. In PRINCESS IN PINK, Mia is celebrating a long-awaited birthday, where she is hoping for many fantastic gifts; she is the newest staffer on the school newspaper, which is extremely exciting, even if she's got a boring topic to cover; she's reaching the end of Freshman Algebra, which she just knows she's going to pass; she's got a fantastic boyfriend, who would be even more fantstic if he would just ask her to the prom; and she's waiting to find out whether her Mother's baby will be a boy or girl. But now trouble has begun, as there is a food worker's strike which is pitting Grandmere (Mia's Grandmother, and the Dowager Princess of Genovia) against Lilly (Mia's best friend), and threatening the very existence of this year's prom. Now Mia is unsure that she will ever have the chance of attending the prom with Michael.

The year's wait was definitely worth it, as some of the old Mia is shining through yet again. As opposed to being so infatuated and obsessed with Michael, as in the last PRINCESS DIARIES book, PRINCESS IN WAITING, Mia is showing off her brain, and working on many other things that don't even involve Michael. Cabot has created a fun addition to the PRINCESS DIARIES series, featuring Mia and her pals. The few issues of Albert Einstein High School's Newspaper THE ATOM are quite fun to read as well, as you get to see what Mia's new project is all about. Overall this was a fantastic read, and will be cherished by all fans of Cabot's work. Pick this up as soon as possible, as you won't be disappointed.

Review: Girls, is senior prom, what you do??? Go!!!

Not for Mia, Mia is only a freshman, even though Michael is a senior and can take her there, but, he is really against proms and stuff. So Mia, not telling Michael about the "I wanna go to prom" spends the whole time in this book hoping that Michael would take her to the prom dance so she can wear her lovely pink gown.

Summary: MLY's book review
Review: I liked this book, especially I enjoy knowing someone else thinks that Molly Ringwald's dress in 'Pretty in Pink' looked like a trainwreck. Cabot is completely consistent in her style,so if you enjoyed the first few books of this series this one is a certain win. Obviously these books aren't for everyone, you have to have a certain amount of self-humour in order to connect with Mia and see the humour of the situations she is involved in.
I'd also so these books aren't necessarily for some of the youngest readers as she does talk about 'getting to second base' quit a bit.
It is good to see the effect Mia is having on those closest to her in this book, most noteably her Grandmere, and finally Lilly has to admit she was wrong about something!!

Summary: An improvment on the series
Review: I loved the 5th book in the Princess Diaries series! I have the whole series and I could read them over and over and never get bored! Mia is the typical (well kind of with the exception of the whole Princess thing) 15 year old girl, who has a boyfriend who hates the idea of going to the prom. He says he would rather go bowling. Through the whole book Mia is basically trying to get Michael Moscovitz to ask her to the prom. Does she succeed? Does Michael finally ask her to the prom? Find out by reading The Princess Diaries V: Princess in Pink, it is definately worth reading. Don't forget to check out Princess Diaries 2 Royal Engagement coming only on the big screen!

Summary: Amazing Princess
Review: I started reading the Princess Diaries books a few years ago, and I just fell in love with them! In this book a lot happends. Mia's mom is expecting a baby soon, there's a strike started by Lilly, princess lessons from Mia's grandmother, and more exiting things. I garantee you that once you start reading, you won't be able to stop! So pick up this book and other Princess Diaries books to find out more about Princess Mia.

Summary: You'll love this book... by Denise D.
Review: Not my favorite. But still a really good read. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that it didnt live up to one, two or three. I do think It was better than four though. Worth the money if you are a fan of the books or Meg Cabbot/ Jenny Carrol. I would also recomend all american girl.

Summary: Princess in Pink Positively Perfect!
Review: The latest book in the Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot is one that you won't be able to put down (literally!)

In this latest book, Princess Mia tries desperately to get her boyfriend, Michael Moscovitz, to ask her to the senior prom, which he thinks is dorky, and would rather go bowling. Meanwhile, Mia is caught in the middle of a strike of restaurant busboys, which her best friend Lilly Moscovitz is leading, which all started by an incident involving Grandmere, Mia's grandmother and dowager princess of Genovia, at Mia's birthday dinner at a fancy restaurant. And Mia's pregnant mother's due date is inching closer and closer...

This is a great book. I read it in a day, and could not put it down. Princess Diaries fans will not be disappointed with Meg Cabot's latest novel!

Review: This book plain reeked if you were over the age of ten. Come on, the people reading these books did not start off liking them because Mia loved asinine junk like the prom and if her boyfriend was going to break up with her. The only good thing in this book was Lilly, and there wasn't even that much of her.

You really want to know? just read the first three books and stop there. There's no point in going on if you want a three-dimensional heroine.

Summary: Really good
Review: This book was so good! If you loved the first four, you will love the fifth. This book was so funny, with a ton of outrageous stuff happening(my favorite was with Boris and the globe!). The only thing I didn't like was how Mia obsessed about the prom so much. This is a must read.
