Summary: What I always wished to know about my wife!
Review: A MUST READ for any HONEST man who wants to support his wife in raising children and maintaining a wholesome family.
If you are a male specie who wants to vegg out on a recliner while waiting for a wife to cook you dinner, then don't waist your time reading this book. You will hate it. Because it is simply against your little miserable existence of avoiding responsibilities. No wonder why there are so many feminazies out there! They are sick and tired of men escaping responsible decisions... I wish those women would hear Dr. Dobson. Let the truth be known. That egocentric bozo they experienced as their husband (or father) is absolutely NOT what God intended a true husband (or father) to be.
I was second-guessing my wife who decided to give up her very successful career to stay home with our kids. After all, the peer pressure is insurmountable! Having read this book, I am inspired as never before to SUPPORT AND CARE FOR my courageous wife. I have recommended this book to all my male friends who have faced similar dilemmas.

Summary: ONLY for the conservative
Review: I found this book to be very insightful--It gave practical advice for both men and women. I also found the return to traditional values to be refreshing. I recommend this book for every Christian couple.

Summary: Great Book for Men!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It provided a lot of useful information and helped improve my marriage of 22 years. I highly recommend this book to husbands of any age. If you're a young husband, this book can REALLY help you get off to a good start.

Summary: As a Dominant Woman, I recommend this book
Review: I use this book to help submissive men understand the needs and wants of women. I think this book is a great resource in furthering male understanding.

Though it is written from a Christian perspective, the information is highly valuable. Dr. Dobson understands that the role of women is to revel in their feminity and not try to be like men (in my opinion, that would be a step down for women).

In a 24/7 Dominant/submissive relationship, where the woman is dominant and the man is submissive, this book is a great asset for men to understand the pressures of daily life, especially if the couple has chosen to have children.

Another book of Dr. Dobson's, 'The Strong Willed Child' is also a great primer on using corporal punishment to correct your submissive (just insert man for child when reading). Dr. Dobson understands the role of punishment and correction and that loving punishment which is not done out of anger or irritation is a wonderful tool to develop relationships as well as exert one's female dominance.

Summary: Wonderful Book!
Review: I wasn't going to buy this book until I read the review from the dominant woman. I wish I had read it a long time ago!

My background: I am a Protestant, middle-class wife living in a mid-Atlantic state in the United States with two kids. I have an idiot for a husband that I'm finally getting to submit. I couldn't figure why he couldn't be more like my dad. My dad jumps at my mom's every whim and is more than willing to service her every need. The guy I got stuck with thought that just because he goes to work forty hours a week, puts time in with the kids, and tries to help a little around the house, that it's enough. For instance, we only have three or four church activities in any given week, and I had to yank him around just to do that. He even thought that I should be doing the dishes!

Things are much better now that I've got him under submission. Heehee, this is great! I hardly have to lift my little finger and he's immediately ready to service me!

Highly recommended!

Summary: For Conservative Christians only
Review: Once again a conservative minister with traditional views thinks women needed a man to not only think FOR them...but to tell us what WE are actually thinking!!!!! If you want to know what wives wish their husbands knew, ask a real wife. If you want to enhance your traditional conservative marriage, this book is for you. Otherwise, not good for modern couples

Summary: Silly claptrap
Review: Ridiculous, laughable! Written by a patriarchial mentality. If a man wants to know what a woman thinks or wants, then a man must ask a woman. No man understands women! The only woman who could be 'explained' by this nonsense is one who's been brainwashed by patriarchial idelolgy, and there are quite a few of that type in America (and in Saudi Arabia, and in Afghanistan, and ....).

For a book that does explain women, to both women and men, see Simon de Beauvoir's 'The Second Sex'. Excellent text, I've read and reread it many times, with greeat benefit.
