Review: Deveraux appeals to every little girl's love of fairy tales, strong and heroic knights, damsels in distress, and tragically happy endings in this timeless portrayal of love that trandscends time. This book has just the right mix of whimsy, heroism, and finely-crafted romantic encounters. I highly recommend it for anyone that needs a real feel-good book to become completely absorbed in. Summary: Definitely the best!
Review: I've never cried so much over a book before. This book greatly moved me. It is so that I HAVE to review although I'm not an avid reviewer. In fact, I hardly review. Those who haven't read this, I definitely recommend you to read this book. A Knight In Shining Armour snatched the first place of my favourite book from Paradise by Judith McNaught. Read it. It'll be worth it.

Summary: Get past the first couple of chapters and it is a fun read.
Review: This is the first time I've read Jude Deveraux. Honestly though, I almost put the book down never to pick it up again. The first few pages really got me going. I couldn't believe Douglas would put up with a man like her boyfriend. I mean to make her pay her own way, put up with his spoiled kid, and THEN leave her alone without money, etc. in a strange land. I was really steamed at that point so much so I just could not read further. Later in the evening I was going to read for just a little while and ended up finishing the book in one sitting.

Summary: My very first time travel
Review: I believe this was my first time-travel romance years ago. I do know that it is one of those books that I have never forgotten. I don't always enjoy time-travel but this one made me laugh and made me cry. I wasn't keeping any at the time I read it, but I did go buy it recently to reread & keep. Definitely a must for time-travel readers.

Review: I recommend this book to EVERYONE! A coworker recommended it to me and I absolutely fell in love with it. I read the entire book in 2 days, barely putting it down. I have tried to read other books since A Knight in Shining Armor but none of them compare to it. If you are ever wanting to escape from this world , get this book and read it. You will be so interested in it that you won't put it down. You, too, will fall in love with Nicholas.

Summary: My all-time favorite book!!!!!!
Review: I am in love with the concept of your "knight in shining armor" coming to save you. When i saw this book at Borders, i thought, This is going to be GREAT. It took me a while to get into it. Since the book was around 450 pages, I knew the first hundred weren't going to be that good. I was right. It took me so long to get into the book. My best friend kept telling me that historical romances are the best. I had never read a historical romance and so far, it wasn't good. But boy, once you get past the first 100 pages, you cannot take your eyes off that book. It was absolutely wonderful. It was all i could ask from a book. It was the first book i couldn't put down other than "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks. I'm not a fast reader. I finished the book in a little less than a week. Believe me, that is good for me. When i was getting closer to the end, i knew what was going to happen. She'd stay in the past with him. I JUST KNEW IT. But it took me for a total surprise when she didn't. I wasn't that impressed with the end. But she made it all come together and that was still good. I mean GREAT. It would have been wonderful for her to stay with Nicholas, but the end was still good. =) I absolutely give this 5 stars. It was a great read and so far my favorite book. This was the book that started my passion for reading. I very highly reccomend this book.

Review: For anyone who loves to get lost in a good love story, this is the book for you!! I was reading this book into the wee hours, unable to put it down! I actually cried when I finished it, not only because I hated for the story to end but also because the ending s just so beautifully written. Enjoy!

Summary: Probably the best book I've read in a long time...
Review: I don't usually go online and rate a book but I just finished this one today and felt like I had to tell SOMEBODY about it! This is probably one of the best historical fictions I've read. I found that I couldn't easily put the book down even when my eyes were drooping and burning from exhaustion! Even though at first glance this seems like it might too far-fetched to be good, I was drawn in page by page. And the ending...this is the ONLY book to ever leave me with tears in my eyes!! I highly recomend this book!!!

Summary: A study in co-dependency
Review: This is a fairly well-written novel with an interesting and entertaining storyline. While the author claims to be writing about alcoholism and "alcoholic personalitites", the book is more effective as a look into how a co-dependent person thinks and behaves. Dougless, the main character, is a *classic* co-dependent in her relationship early in the novel, and then, through her relationship with Nicholas, she finds the courage and self-respect to discover that love doesn't involve letting her partner use and walk all over her.Overall, I think the book is a good, entertaining, easy read. I don't usually like romance novels, but the history side of the story kept me interested and entertained the whole way through.
