Summary: AWESOME, BABY!!!
Review: I am not 14 years old, so I know what I'm talking about... This book was very, very good! It was intriguing and kept me interested from cover to cover!!!! KEEP IT UP, JOHNNY!

Summary: IT'S A MUST!
Review: THE FIRM is absolutly a great book. No, fantastic would be theright word. I just couldn't put it down until I saw the ending, so Iread it 'til 4 A.M.! But I was so excited that I didn't even feel sleepy. During the book, I almost felt like I was Mitch, running away from the Mob, not knowing what to do. I wonder how I would have acted if I was in that situaution. Would I have acted bravely and clever like Mitch? Or... Well, I hope so. But the reason I rated this book 8 instead of 9 or 10, even though I liked it so much, is because of the ending. I saw the movie(featuring Tom Cruise), and I think its ending was much better. But although I didn't like the ending, it's a great book. I'm a middle school student in Korea, so I'm not very good at English(you would know it by reading my review), but it was no problem. For anyone who didn't read it yet, I say it's a MUST!

Summary: A book that says: Is it worth my time to read fiction?
Review: Many people say this is a "happening book." My opinion is that it was pathetic, unrealistic, and not worth your time. I am only 14, but trust me, there are many other, good books in the world. I say this because books like this have say to me- It won't make a difference if I read it or not? Why waste time on imaginitive trash?. It isn't real. P.S. I also apolagize for my negitivity. I am also sorry if I offended anyone or lowered anyone's self-esteem. -THANKS FOR READING MY REVIEW. "The REVEWIER"

Summary: One of John Grisham's finest peices of work.
Review: John Grisham has written one of the most intense legal thrillers of our time. It is simply a great book, but certainly not without its flaws. I found it difficult to get absorbed into the book at the outset. I found it lagged a little at the beginning, but I can't regard that as a setback. Most thrillers take a while to build up, after all. Maybe I was expecting too much. The first chapters certainly were good, as they established character and mood, and set me up for surprises. Once the conflict was established, I could not put down the book. I became deeply involved in and distraught over the plight of the unfortunate young lawyer, sharing his and his wiife's grief over their horrible dilemma. Part of the reason the novel affected me so personally, and made my body freeze in sheer horror as I was reading it, was the fantastic narrative style tailored by the author. Grisham's technique of using sensory appeal is refreshing. His talent for this device is often overlooked. Of course, Grisham is notorious for writing enthralling works, and this book doesn't disappoint. It excites, and pushes all the right buttons. And its strongest feature is the utter humanity of the main characters, not to mention the imposing creepiness of the firm with the wrong connections, where nobody gets out alive. A little formulaic, and certainly not as powerful or involving as Grisham's highly personal and disturbing A Time to Kill, but I enjoyed it immensely. The action was superb, the dialogue flowed. Reading this book was one of my most enjoyable experiences. The Firm stands as maybe a modern classic, if just for igniting the career of one of the world's most successful and profitable authors

Summary: Bravo, Bravo! Grisham's best book!
Review: This is a must-read for all mystery book lovers! The young hot-shot lawyer portrayed in the book is a character you immediately fall in love with. Has just the right amount of legal jargon, and definitely won't bore you like some John Grisham books. If you're going to read this book, you better set aside an entire day, because you won't be able to stop turning the pages

Summary: This Was A Great Book, Until The End
Review: This is one of the best books, but the ending was so plodding, with the main character running, running, running. It got so OLD. The movie wrapped up the ending in a better way

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Great Great
Review: This was the best Grisham's book I read. Is simply amazing. I was trapped since the begining, trying to figure out what he will do to run away from the Mob, the FBI and the Police. Grisham manages the suspense as a real master.

Summary: The Firm has it all!
Review: After having read the book that I borrowed from a friend, I rushed out and bought a copy myself to lend to other friends.I love the truthfulness of the main characters. Of course he'd steal a few millions if given the chance. Of course his girlfriend forgives his quick roll in the hay, as long as she doesn't have to talk about it. I like the irony when he exclaims to the officer that he's the victim in the case; at that time he already committed the most universal of all crimes that is so often punished by death: he was dealing with criminals. The only small drawback is the sponsored brand names that are *Jack Daniels* inserted in a sort of clumsy *BMW* way that make it seem like he added them after *Volvo* finishing the plot. When you're done with this book do yourself the favor of not reading The Client. Your esteem of Grisham is so much better off is you stick to The Firm..

Summary: The Firm can get anyone hooked on reading
Review: The term "crippling" is often used with things that are bad; i.e. accidents, financial woe, etc. However, one might choose to use the term when describing "The Firm." I would myself use the term for the outright ring of truth to it; if you want to experience a total inability to go on with the pleasantries of life, the loss of desire to be sociable, and the preference for remaining silent and morose for long periods of time, by all means do read "The Firm." This book can make a reader out of anyone, and presents true suspense. This book should come with a warning label: "Not to be read, glanced through, or even looked at by normally disciplined citizens; may present extreme and unalterable damage to body due to lack of movement for a prolonged period of time." Happy reading.

Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: I thought this book was excellent. When you start reading it is hard to put the book down. The book really draws you in when the FBI gets involved and McDeere's (the main character) life is at stake. Though I think the Client (also by Grisham) was better written I would suggest this book to anyone as superb book.
