Summary: mitch is the coolest guy youll ever read about
Review: what a sweet book i read pages so quick and in so little time its not a slow book its a fast paced action mafia and crime book. if your always looking for a book that is like the cool movies like mission impsossible this is the one. it has action, mafia, cops, law and life, sex, almost anything and it keeps you hanging there are new exciting parts in every part of the book unless you are scared of a cool action story this is a book that you will never regret. when I was done the first thing I thought was how am I ever gonna top that or even get close with another book. if grishams other storys are to intence this on is much different and almost anyone can enjoy it. buy it to anywhere at a used book shop whatever but it is a nice book to own and do whatever you want with just spend 4 dollars and its yours. read it best book I ever read

Summary: Good book, don't bother with the movie
Review: This book is SOOOOOOO much better than the movie version (which is without question for all of Grisham's books). Read this, don't see the movie as you will be disappointed.

Summary: Top Thriller
Review: This is a great book that is full of mystery and excitement. It is about this new young lawyer that got picked to be in the best firm in the US. This firm is great with a starting salary of $75,000 and a $5,000 bonus when you pass the bar and you get raises like crazy. That isnt all the get you a great deal on a house and how about a brand new BMW you get to pick the color of course. How much better can life get. One catch though you can only leave the firm in a coffin. That is right everyone that has ever tried to leave the firm is dead. Now it is up to Mitch and the FBI to bring this firm down which they also find out is part of the Mafia. This book is full of mystery and excitement i recommend to any person intrested in Grisham.

Summary: My favorite....
Review: I love everything that Grisham writes, and the Firm was no exception. It is, in my opinion, his best work ever. I loved it.

Its the story of a young lawyer who joins a tax firm that isn't quite what it seems. The FBI becomes involved... and we know that things can only go downhill from there.

Grisham's character development and plot movement were supreme. I stayed up late into the night to finish this one!

Summary: An exciting book, but liked the movie better
Review: I have seen the movie version of "The Firm" several times and have always liked it, so a month ago I decided to buy the book and see if it was as good as the movie. It was an exciting page turner of course, but I was disappointed in the ending, which was very different than the movie ending. The last third of the movie had a tense, heart pounding chase (with perfect chase music on a piano), and a satisfying, believable resolution to the seemingly impossible circumstances Mitch McDeere found himself in. Thus, I thought only an author could come up with such a good ending (yet another reason to read the book), but not so. I won't give away the book ending, but when I found myself 20 pages from the end of the book with no nail-biting chase, and nothing being explained as to how McDeere gets out of it (like it was in the movie), I was getting a little impatient, and was finally disappointed. Now I can see why they changed the ending in the movie. Good move.

Summary: I could not put this book down!

Summary: The Firm- One of the Best Books Out There!
Review: The Firm, by John Grisham is a well known book, and for very good reasons. It's truly one of the best books I've ever read. It's one of those books you can't put down, cause the suspense is killing you. The writing is excellent and flows really nice. Of course there's a great story line also: Mitch McDeere, young lawyer just out of Harvard is recruited by many firms all across the country, including a small firmm in Memphis, he's offered lots of money and he accepts the job. Like any good lawyer he works hard and minds his own buisness, until the FBI contacts him and he becomes a part of a huge mafia bust that puts himself and his wife in great danger. Mitch has to struggle with whether or not to incriminate his lawyer friends or help the FBI and have the mob out to get him. There's never a dull moment and you'll find yourself begging for more!

Summary: Gripping
Review: Grisham just doesn't miss and this is no exception. From the first page to the last I flipped waiting for the next problem to arise and the next suspensful paragraph.

THis is not rocket science or deep theology but it is a fun read and a great ride! The characters are deep and wll thought out and the tension is real. Enjoy!

Summary: Great Thriller
Review: The Firm is an awesome thriller. It is an intriguing book by all standards and is nearly impossible to put down. The one thing I did not like about it was the way the secrecy was handled. It all seemed too simple. Anyone who has read The Cardinal of the Kremlin and has any post high school education could have easily written something more elaborate. Other than that, it's a great book.
