Summary: The Ersatz Elevator, by Lemony Snicket
Review: For the sixth time Lemony Snicket wrote a book about three orphaned children who always somehow have something bad happen to them. That is why his books are called the Series of Unfortunate Events. I thought the book was good because it had a lot of danger and excitement. It made me want to keep on reading, because each chapter kept you hanging on for the next. I am now reading number seven and am looking forward to number eight.

Summary: This book Is NOT Ersatz!
Review: The Ersatz Elevator is such a book that you wouldn't want to put it down. The plot has a twist that it is of course hard to believe. I would have to say this is the best book out of the most recent I have read (The Hostile Hospital, Book the Eigth). It really puts more flavor into the upcoming sequels and thus you must read it! So many new things are discovered, and it is quite unbelievable that so much information is concealed in this one book. Unfortunately, one minor con is that you will have to read this about 2 times unless you're majorly perceptive or you read a page quite slowly and take in every word (I've tried it but it just hasn't worked out~ hehe). But, if you are a diehard fan of A Series Of Unfortunate Events, this is completely worthwile, 200%! If you are a beginner on the tracking of the three Baudelaires (orphans? I know that there is a survivor, as read in An Unauthorized Autobiography)this is worth only one read and just get on with it. Although I would like to rate this book 4.5, I believe that Lemony Snicket deserves 5 stars for the book overall, not the plot but the layout. Just the way the reader would read the gracefully layed out book. Such a book to appreciate that no matter what you've rated it, the intimate reader would overide you decision with a five star.

Summary: Look out behind you!
Review: Yet another amazing book from Mr. Snicket. The intrigue comes back in the form of the two Quagmire triplets, being kept at the bottom of an elevator shaft. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny perform some simply amazing feats (Sunny climbs the wall with her teeth) and once again a friend who wishes to help them, Jerome, just can't seem to get anything done. After they met the doorman to 667 Dark Avenue, I kind of already had a feeling for what they were in for, and at the end, I was actually surprised that the children didn't figure out Count Olaf's plan when it was obviously right in front of their faces. Let's hope they stick together and catch the evildoer next time.

Summary: A Book About A Marvelous Elevator, Or is it Ersatz?
Review: This Amazing book is full of surprises. Once you pick it to read you can't stop. If I had stopped reading it, I would have been thinking of what could have happened to the unlucky orphans. The Baudelaire's come across many unfortunate events in this story. In fact, after you read this sad but yet great story, you won't wonder why the fantastic author "Lemony Snicket" Has named his series "The Series of Unfortunate events".In this book all 3 Baudelaire's work together to try to get their friends, Duncan and Isadora out of Count Olaf's clutches but they have to try to convince their new guardians that live in a penthouse on Dark Avenue that Gunther isn't an actioneer. That he is Count Olaf in disguise. Will they convince them soon enough or will they be too late to save their friends?

Summary: The Ersatz Elevator
Review: The Ersatz Elevator
By: Lemony Snicket

The Ersatz Elevator is one of a series about three orphans, the Baudelaires, whose parents die in a tragic house fire. Their parents were extremely rich, and in their will they leave all their fortune to Violet- their oldest daughter. The orphans are passed around from guardian to guardian. Somehow the evil Count Olaf-their first care taker who would do anything for their fortune keep finding out where they are and always has some kind of plan to steal their fortune.

In this particular story the orphans move in with Mr. and Mrs. Squalor, a fairly wealthy couple who live in the penthouse of a very, very tall building. Guess who finds his way into their lives again?! Count Olaf or should I say Gunther his disguise name finds his way back into their lives. He throws the children down an empty elevator shaft so they can't stop his evil plan.

There are 8 main characters. In this story there there is Mr. Poe the caretaker who was almost like a social worker for the orphans. Violet, the oldest orphan who is 14 and loves inventing. Klaus who is 11, the middle orphan. He loves reading and researching. is Sunny, she is 5. She cannot talk yet but her siblings can understand her made-up words and translate them to anyone in need of translation. Sunny loves to bite things. There is also Mrs. Squalor, who is into what's "In" style and what's "Out" of style. Her husband, Mr. Squalor, just follows his wife's orders and doesn't argue anytime with anyone. Last and meanest is Gunther who is really Count Olaf but nobody recognizes him except the orphans, and nobody believes them.

My favorite character is definitely Klaus because he has the responsibility of always taking care of sunny. If something goes wrong he gets blamed. I can relate to that in a lot of different ways. One way is that I'm the youngest in my family and when anything is missing or anything goes wrong, I get the blame! I see things like that happen to Klaus a whole lot.

I love this book, I love this whole series. It has action, adventure, suspense, fiction, but also some fact and truth. My favorite part of the book was when the three children use food to leave a track so they didn't get lost inside the huge apartment. I thought that was funny. My least Favorite part of the book was at the auction and the Baudelaires are in a box and they told Mr. Squalor to vote for that box he was overthrown by another bidder. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes action, adventure, suspense, fiction, and some truth. Even if someone liked only one of those categories he/she would probably enjoy this book.

Now the live with snobby Esme Squalor, this rich brat, things have been a mixed bag. They arrive when dark is in, so its dark, dir'. the walk up a darkened starcase, to the Squalers penthouse. Esme gets a call that dark is OUT, orphans are in, so now its light, so on. so Olaf showes up again discized, so i'm not going 2 spoil the plot 4 U. But, Hey its the best book i've ever read... Summary: Great!
Review: This time the Baudelaire orphans are living at the street of Dark Avenue. They live with Esme and Jerome Squalor. The Baudelaires must figure out who they can trust before it is to late. Lemony Snicket does an AMAZING job with this book and it is probably the best in the series. You will definetly want to know what happens in this book if you liked the others, and you want to know what happens to the Baudelaires good friends, the Quagmires. Like I said, this book is great and you should read it!

Summary: Look Mr. Tonan I did a review
Review: Out of all the books in the series of unfortunate events this is by far the best. The three baudelarie orphans find them selfs with a new guardian named Esme Sqalor. Esme pays a lot of attention to what is "in and out" so the orphans should be carefull lest they become "out".
