Summary: Stuart Little: still as much fun as ever
Review: I re-read this story a few months ago after about an 11 year gap. What a delightful experience! It`s a great book for kids, but reading it as an adult is fun, too, and you understand a lot more of the author`s tongue-in-cheek wit and his lyrical descriptions. Child readers will be entranced by Stuart`s clever adaptions to a world that is always bigger than he is: details like his matchbox bed, paper clip skates, and toy sailboat that he commandeers quite well are very original. I do recall thinking as a kid that it was weird that he was born looking so much like a mouse and everyone just takes it for granted, but you tend to forget about that as you get absorbed in the adventures. Stuart is also born with an enormous capacity for wit and a novel take on life- witness his verbal sparring with Snowbell the cat and his hilarious turn as a substitute teacher. Others have noted that the primary reason he appeals so much to kids is because they, too, have to cope each day with a huge, often bewildering adult world. I agree with this, while also offering the idea that another reason he`s easy to like is because he is a true individual who likes to do things in his own special manner. He does`nt mind if big people and animals find his custom-built car or tiny clothing and suitcase strange! By the end of the story, you`re really rooting for him to find his lovely little bird friend, Margalo, and you`re also quite disappointed that the tale ends so abruptly! If only White had written a Stuart sequel. I can`t say enough good things about Stuart, and re-discovering him has inspired me to both rent the movie and look for a copy of White`s essays.

Summary: Stuart Little
Review: Stuat Little the book is a little bit odd in a way. I say that because it is not that believable to me. It seems that the author I'll be nice and wont give out a name, but the author to me must not be concentrating enough when he/she writes. To me I can undestand what the author's thoughts of the story ar, but they don't seem to go together, come on now have you ever seen or heard of a mouse that wals and talks and who is adopted to human as a son come on now, and who is going on adventures in the sea. I have to be honest the movie was even better than this. Like I said I can undestand the point of view of the autho but this is sure not to be read by o middle school student. I know this is fiction book, but at least come up with a better topic. So this is just a measage from me don't buy this book it's just a waste of money as well as your time.

Summary: Stuart Little!
Review: I liked Stuart Little because it was the story of how he lived with a human family as a family member not a pet. It would be better if they had a Stuart Little #3 and a mystery with Stuart Little kinda like Harry Potter. Why I read it is because it was a classic and I love classics and classic novles. I liked the part in Stuart Little where Stuart Little borrowed the little canoe from the gas station and it leaked on the lake.

Summary: Wonderful Adventure Story for Early/Middle Grade Readers!
Review: Stuart Little is a charming "person" mouse who experiences many adventures and has the personality of a real person living with real people. His exciting escapades are told in a delightful way to hold the interest of the early grade readers and even those in middle grades. I have listened to many book reports on Stuart Little, and I have observed the interest of the children and their delight in the book!

Summary: So Much Better Than The Movie
Review: My son and I spent the last three weeks reading Stuart Little and found that the movie we had enjoyed was a very distant cousin of this wonderful classic novel. He really liked the different characters such as Margalo, the bird. Great reading for all ages.

Summary: Mouse on a Quest
Review: This darling chidlren's classic--with exquisite b/w illistrations by Garth Williams--has been a family favoite since my childhood. Orignally begun as a series of unrelated tales about a mouse born into a human family who lives in a kinder, gentler New York City, this book gradually evolves into a novelette. After several expository chapters the plot finally emerges; in this animal fantasy world human-rodent relationships and dialogue are accepted as natural. This humorous but unlikely story will appeal to elementary children and all who keep mice as pets.

For our Stuart is a Mouse-about-Town (and Country), in his mini-car with invisible capabilities. He might even be the literary ancestor of Beverly Cleary's Mouse and the Motorcycle. His self-appointed quest is to seek out his dear friend, Margalo--a tamed wild bird who flew away in fear of the family cat.

Equally at home on land or on water, this intrepid mouse discovers that not all his "Midsummer Memories" are sweet, but his adventures capture our childlike imagination. This gentlmanly mouse is sociable (with occasional hints of the sulks). He is at home both in a canoe and in the schoolroom; he admire his fearlessness in setting out to succeed in a human world. He follows his dream with quiet independence and determination; we respect his steadfast devotion to Margalo, who once saved his life. This is a simple, pleasant read for the young at heart.

Summary: the best book i have read is stuart little by E.B. white
Review: Nathan Duncan

My favorite book is Stuart little by E.B white. Its about a mouse that lives with the FREDRICK.C.LITTLES. They have a cat named Snowbell. Snowbell and Stuart are very good friends. The people he lives with build him little stuff so he can use like a sink and so on. They enter a boat contest, and it ends up messing up because the remote control is broken. Stuart saves them by getting in the boat and winning the race for them. As you can see,it's a very, very good book.

Review: I read the book Stuart Little. I loved this book because it was a adventurous tale. I liked the book because it was funny. If I had to put it into two words the words would be "TOTALLY COOL". I liked this book so much that I went to the store and bought a paperback edition of Stuart Little to read to my little cousins and my kids. I would tell people that I liked this book so much that I couldn't put the book down for three whole days, after school when I am finished with my homework.
