Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Stuart Little Review: I enjoyed reading Stuart Little. I really liked Stuart Little because I really like the adventure type books. If you've seen the movie or read the book before you would know that. This book was written by E.B. White. I have read Charlotte's Web by E.B. White and I thought that was a great book so I read another book by him and it turned out great also. Stuart Little has great adventures like sailing on a ship that is almost sunken by a paper bag (remember he is a mouse). Stuart also drives a little mini car that he drives all over the streets looking for his friend Margalo who escaped from being eaten by a cat (Margalo is a bird that the Littles found hurt so they brought her into their home). Stuart runs into many nice strangers along the way. Stuart meets a little someone along the way also just about his size and this little someone is not a mouse like Stuart. You will have to read the book to find out. Stuart is about 2.5 inches tall and this someone is about 2 inches tall, guess who? I think that Stuart is very brave and outgoing. Stuart actualy rebuilds a souvenier canoe with just a Spruce tree and some spruce gum. Stuart is so small that he buys his clothes and accesories at a doll shop and his bed is made out of a cigarette box and four clothespins. Stuart Little also has to turn on the sink's faucet by hitting it with a small hammer and he has to hang on a string and pull with all his might in order to turn on a light. Overall, I think Stuart Little had a fun time on all his adventures and I know I had a fun time reading Stuart Little. For more information on Stuart little just read the book, I know you'll enjoy it.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Book Review on STUART LITTLE Review: I am going to write a Book Review on a wonderful book I read in 6th grade. This book is Stuart Little by E. B. White Have you ever felt like an outcast before? You're always feeling different, looking different, acting different, and always knowing you're just different from the normal person. Until one normal day someone comes along and helps you out. They being anyone, just come and helps with your problems. Well, that is what Stuart a mouse feels like in the story-book Stuart Little by E. B. White. In this wonderful story a family, known as the Littles have a son who has always wanted a brother. So the mother and the father go and find their son a younger brother. They then come back home with a mouse named Stuart. I know it sounds weird to have a mouse as a little son, but the Littles just feel in love with Stuart. Stuart in the story goes through many problems being tiny, like the clothing, the ways of getting around, and many others. Stuart then thinks that he can go out into the big world and decides to go on a journey, almost taking his life many times. One of the most exciting parts in this book was, when Stuart goes off on his journey into the BIG WORLD. He is looking pretty good to other bigger animals as supper, so when he was walking in the park a big over head flying pigeon tries to eat Stuart. Stuart then has to quickly get away. Being in the BIG WORLD can be dangerous I kept thinking to myself and hoping Stuart wouldn't die. Read the book to find out what happens to Stuart Little. So, if you enjoy a book of fun reading, emotion, and action that keeps you reading and into the book, I really think your should try the novel Stuart Little by E. B White.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Stuart Little is a great book Review: Endearing, full of wit and amusement, adventure!! An adventurous, heroic little mouse is and has been living a normal human lifestyle with a human family. As being part of the family he does many things for it. For example, Mrs. Little drops her ring down the drain of the bathroom tub and can't get it out, Stuart goes in and gets it. When the Little's play ping pong and the ping pong ball goes somewhere off the table Stuart gets it. Even though he does a lot of work for the other Little's he is treated well and is very loved, not just for his work. Stuart has a problem. Margalo is missing and Stuart has to leave to go find this special friend. Margalo is Stuarts loving and caring bird friend. Read, as Stuart goes on his journey to find his good friend and to watch him stumble into more, new exciting adventures. I was interested throughout the whole entire story. From Rowing down streams, up in trees, to walking through the tall wet grasses. Adventure after adventure. You might even catch yourself laughing. I recommend this book to all readers interested. Well written and understandable.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Dull family classic Review: The second son of the Little family turns out to be a mouse, whom they nevertheless name Stuart and raise as their own. I was somewhat underwhelmed by this family classic. Stuart's "adventures," such as riding on a toy boat and going down a drain, are related briefly and dully, without developing much tension or excitement. The characters are unfailingly stiff and polite with each other; even the interaction between family members often comes off like conversations between strangers at a cocktail party. The Little family's treatment of Stuart seems quite neglectful as well. Mr. Little, in particular, seems to think nothing of sending his little son into potentially dangerous situations, such as down a drainpipe to fetch a ring. At one point, the book describes how it becomes Stuart's job to go inside the piano while it is being played and hold on to a key that sticks, even though doing so subjects him to loud noises that affect his hearing for hours afterward.

Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Cute but strange ending Review: This was a cute book about litle Stuart the mouse in NYC. I listened to it in my car a week ago. Its a great book for kids, but I kept thinking how bizarre some of the events were. The voice of the cat in the book is agravating, like fingernails on a blackboard. The book kind of trails of in the end when Stuart starts looking for his lover, the little bird Margolo. Then it ends. Odd. But a great book to read to kids at bedtime. .
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Amazing!!! Review: Stuart Little belongs to animal fantasy. In the beginning, a baby mouse, Stuart Little, comes out, but we do not where it is from. According to the context, he could be an adopted boy or even born by his human parents. It is still a mystery. Mr. and Mrs. Little prepare lots of small stuff for their new small son. It appears that Stuart is just a pet, but it is not. Stuart's physical development keeps being compared with a human baby since E.B. White tries to give readers a hint that Stuart is no more or less than a unique human baby. Stuart is as the same as humans. And Stuart behaves the same as humans do and even can talk to people. Everything normal becomes dramatically magical. It looks like a wonder. When the story goes on, readers will know that Stuart is treated as equally as a human being because for other people in the story he is normal. Every animal in the story can communicate with human beings without startling or frightening them. That is, it is those characters' real world, so there is no so-called wonder in the story. Because of the consistency of this kind of rule, young readers will think the story is dependable. Stuart is a small mouse, so the world he looks at is different from that humans do. Everything for him is enormous and giant. He is as big as a cute souvenir. Then, everything he uses is specially designed for him because he is small. To let readers know how small Stuart is, the author gives a human environment for him. And the environment is well described, and then it seems real to young readers. Stuart's human parents and brother has to help him lead a proper life in the environment. In this part, we can see how Stuart lives in that big place. Everything is detailed so that it is difficult for young readers to think the story is false. Furthermore, Stuart, a mouse, is vividly and minutely described in his behavior, appearance, and thinking. He seems an authentic character. Reading the story, we know he leads a human life, and he has the same emotions as humankind does. There is no difference. The way he tries to live outside is the same. The only difference is that he looks very much like a small mouse, so he needs small tools, beds, canoe, shoes, hats, soaps, toothbrushes, car and the like, and he also needs appropriate ways to live in the titanic human world. Stuart is not the only one who can be vividly active in people's minds. All the characters look real and have their own thoughts and emotions, too. Further, Stuart Little has most of the traits that young readers have and even fulfill many dreams they are eager to accomplish in their daily lives so that he is appealing to them just like a super star. The most interesting part is that Stuart teaches students that every creature is equal. People have to put on those animals' shoes and know their points of view. Here, the author tries to let readers think this story is believable. Every animal is just as the same as humans. E.B. White does not end the story, so readers have an opportunity to imagine what happens next to Stuart and can even complete the missing part of the story by themselves. The way the author does also stimulates young readers to know more about Stuart Little. Specifically speaking, Stuart Little is merely a success, but by comparison with Charlotte's Web, it is not a great success because the story, Charlotte's Web, profoundly touches readers' hearts with the more subtle human relationship. In general, Stuart Little is significant and worthwhile.
