Summary: The Puppy Who Wanted A Boy
Review: "The Puppy Who Wanted A Boy" is a story about Petey, a puppy, who above all else, wants a boy for Christmas. So when his mother goes out looking for one but comes back without any, Petey decides to look for one himself. His travels take him all around town, but the only boys he could find already had dogs and the dogs didn't want to give their boy up. He looks all day but doesn't find one until he comes to a home for boys at the end of the day. There he meets a boy named Ricky who takes a liking to Petey. After checking with his advisor, Ricky takes Petey inside and introduce him to the rest of the boys. They all just love Petey and decide to keep him.
I think that this book is put together pretty well. It shows determination on Petey's part to get a boy and shows kids never to give up on things. Besides this it is a pretty good book just overall that you can sit down and read just for the fun of it. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because to me it isn't a book that can be read over and over like some other books can be and still be a good book.

Summary: Good everytime you read it
Review: I've read this book about a million times over and over and it never will get old. First I love the pictures! The puppy dog is very cute and always reminds me of my old puppy tuffy. The way that the dog really wants a boy and looks everywhere to find the best one is really neat. And the best ending where he finds a home with so many boys and he could't be happier dog. It kindof tells you not to give up because the best thing is out there for you all you need to do is find it and you'll be happy.

Summary: The Puppy Who Wanted a Boy was delightful.
Review: Petey was a wonderer that wanted a boy for Christmas. The ending was hilarious! Instead of finding one boy, he found fifty five kids who wanted him. Children who love dogs should buy and read this book.

Summary: The Puppy Who Wanted A Boy,By:Jane Thayer
Review: Today I am going to tell you a little about a book called "The Puppy Who Wanted A Boy"by Jane Thayer. It is about a puppy who wanted a boy for Christmas. So he asks his mother. But his mother said that he must follow only three rules. Which was not to eat up any shoes, leave the bird alone, and to be a good puppy. He does not follow those rules so his mother said no. But as a surprise she went out looking for a boy for her son.But she had no luck. She told her son that she was looking for him to have a boy and no other dogs wanted to give away there boy. So the puppy went off on his own to look for a boy. Now,I cant tell you the end so you might want to read the book and find out the ending. But just to let you know that this is a really good book.
