Rating: Summary: Adaptation? Review: I was going to give this a five star recommendation until i read Yuri Rasovsky's review of his own "adaptation", neglecting to mention the only WRITER {that i recognize} whom he should consider himself blessed would deem it worthy to participate in, HARLAN ELLISON. Mr. Rasovsky you will remain an adaptor.

Rating: Summary: Additional info Review: I wrote the audio adaptation of this Yiddish classic, produced and directed it. It is always a privilege to work on great material with a superb cast. Principles include Edward Asner, Theodore Bikel, Ashley Gardner, Richard Kind, Marilyn Mercer, Carl Reiner, Barbara Rosenblat, Kristoffer Tabori. Music is provided by Klezmer and All That Jazz and the chorus of Temple B'nai Yehudah of Milwaukee.
Rating: Summary: Masterful production of Yiddish classic Review: This is a beautifully acted production with music and sound effects put to excellent purpose. Romantic, chilling, funny in turns. Ashley Gardner, Theodore Bikel and Ed Asner are the best.
Rating: Summary: Excellent job! Review: This is an exceptional audio recording of a beautiful and exciting play. The sound is pristine and the performances outstanding. The play has humor, supernatural elements, a nearly heartbreaking romance, suspense and an uplifting moral. What more can you ask?
