Summary: Very entertaining book
Review: I am a fan of Richard Belzer and his comedic outlook of life. I saw him on TV pushing this book and I ordered it that same day. I read it quickly and found it extremely addictive and engrossing. The evidence for JFK and UFO's was very well researched and well presented in a format that was organized and made sense. It made me think twice about what we are presented by the media and what the truth really is!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Entertaining Fiction
Review: I enjoyed the book, while dismissing most of the conspiracies. It can be done! What brought the rating down was the lack of photos and/or illustrations....anyone can accuse, give us your proof! And not by telling us to buy someone else's book, either. Otherwise, a city dweller like me who has never seen a flying saucer can have a good laugh!

Summary: Factoid: This book may crush some cherished delusions.
Review: I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much from this book when I bought it. I thought it would just provide a pleasant diversion during a long drive. (And, yes, I'm talking about the audiobook version. Reading while driving is just plain wrong, kids.) I didn't think a comedian/actor would have a proper understanding of the topics presented. Of course, I also never used to question such supposedly august institutions as the U.S. Department of Justice or The New York Times. It was a silly prejudice; Belzer is very knowledgeable. The references peppered throughout convinced me of this. The Belz provides an overview of various conspiracies that has surprising depth. In addition, the writing is very concise and powerful. I didn't find a dull moment in the entire book. And, even though the book would stand well on the organization of information and the excellent writing, the humor really helps put it above the standard conspiracy primer. It's not too over-the-top and not too desperately cynical. (The conspiracy rap at the end is a true masterpiece.) Get it and let the information work its way, unsettlingly, into your storehouse of popular delusions. Or scoff and go back to sleep like the rest of the sheep...but don't forget to keep laughing.

Summary: A wry funny look at familiar and new accounts....
Review: I like Belzer and thought his commentary was fresh and interesting. Best book i've read on the subject since Cosmic Testube.

Summary: I LOVE BELZER!
Review: I love this book! It's a wonderful way to make your senses just a little more paranoied. Through this book, Belzer remains funny. Which is what I like about Richard. This book is involved, and some may find it weird or inappropriate, if you can't deal with something that might take away some light form your happy-go-lucky world, don't read it. If you're going to read it, and you find it offensive, it's your own fault, you should know better than to read something that looks like you might be a little shaken by. If you're going to read it, read it because you have some interest in what Belzer is saying, or Belzer himself. I read it becasue I am a fan of his, and wanted to see what he was getting paid to ramble about, and I am very glad I did. It's an informative and really funny book, so if you're not the most content person with the government, this book would probably be a good one for you.

Summary: Great
Review: I loved this book & the writing. I am of an age where the JFK assasination has always intrigued me, this shows some of the evidence that exists.....the younger generation does not realize that at the time this happened we were just given so much hype.....Oswald a lone shooter, you'd have to believe in the tooth fairy & santa to buy into this scenerio. Belzer is a good writer & I hope he writes more.

Summary: The Amazing Truth Is In Here.
Review: I origanally bought this book looking for Belzer's great comedic outlook. What I found was an amazing disection of the Kennedy assassanation that was so gripping, so thought-provoking that I could hardly put it down to sleep, eat, or go to the bathroom. The way Belzer carefully aranges the details and theories is awesome. While not stepping to far from reality he outlines all the events, motives, people and evidence for every theory and at the same time totally slams the Warren Report that "THEY" expected us all to believe. Every idea or theory is supported with amazing detail and backed with intriging-and sometimes startling-facts. Then he explains many aspects of UFOs, including sightings, the moon, Mars and abductions. He tells the truth behind what you should now and what "THEY" will allow you to know. I recomend this book to anyone even remotely interested in goverment coverups or conspiraciess. I may just be a high school student but in my almost 16 years on this planet I have accumulated more knowledge than most of the adults that I know.

Summary: Pleasantly surprised
Review: I picked this book up not knowing what to expect. I was slightly familiar with Belzer's stand-up, but hadn't read anything he had written. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.

I have always been slightly interested in conspiracy theories, but with my interest came a bit of embarrassment. Belzer's humor effectively dissolved my embarrassment. If I started feeling a little ridiculous when I found myself seriously considering an off the wall idea, Belzer's wit would put me at ease. The humor made it easy to tell yourself, "I'm not crazy, Belzer is."

I can't say that Belzer was able to convince me of anything, but he certainly managed to pique my curiosity. Should I decide to learn more about the theories Belzer presents, I can simply turn to the helpful bibliography of conspiracy books and resources that Belzer recommends.

The bottom line - this book is a great blend of conspiracy and humor and I think it could be enjoyed by someone looking for either.

Summary: Interesting and Funny Read.
Review: I think Belzer will just whet the minds of his readers, making them crave some facts or substance to his whimsical musings of conspiracies. I like the works and admire his career so this is not a negative review. The book is well worth the money and time and will make you think and laugh, which none of us do often enough. If you want the substance, then PLEASE READ the best selling Jim Marr's "Alien Agenda" or "Project Blue Book's" author Brad Stieger's new exciting and revealing new book titled "Alien Rapture.' Also check out the reviews on Colonel Corso's 'After Roswell' and Dr. (NASA UFO Investigator) Paul Hill's "Unconventional Flying Objects. Find the truth, as Fox says, 'It's Out There.'
