Summary: Great book!
Review: An excellent book but we do need the sequel. I pray the writer will continue the story. Zion Covenant is one of the best series of books that I have ever read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fine, sweeping WWII epic in search of a sequel.
Review: Excellent historical novel with enough situations and characters to give a feel for the huge sweep of the war itself, but needs a sequel to finish the history and the stories.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Needs a sequel . . . !
Review: I have enjoyed many of the Thoene's works and I thoroughly enjoyed Twilight. I enjoy receiving an education on world history as well as being entertained. However, I really need a sequel to wrap up HOW (as in "who", "where" and "what") the allies finally put it together to restore world peace.

Summary: Makes You think!
Review: I have read most of the Thoene's books, and this one is as good as the others! The Thoene's books are researched extensively, and I have learned more from this book (and their Zion Covenants and Zion Chronicles ) than I learned in any history class. This book is a real eye opener!

Summary: A disapointment
Review: I LOVE Brock and Bodie especially the Zion Covenant series but this bok was such a BORE. It is the only one of their books I have not cared to finish. I just gave up with about 85 pages to go because I simply did not care what happened. Now it is just taking up space on my bookshelf.

Summary: An extremely fine book!
Review: I read this book some time ago, but still remember it well. I vividly recall the account of the Allied troops who were trapped between German tanks and the sea. I was greatly moved by the description of the valiant efforts that the British made to come to their rescue. I agree with the person who asked for a sequel. The writers left to door wide open for one. I hope they will not disappoint us!

Summary: Needs a Sequel!!!
Review: I thought Twilight of Courage was a great book. I like reading stories about World war 2, and I thought this story really captured the meaning of the war and the real life struggles. The one thing that it could use is a sequel. It leaves you hanging and wanting to know what will happen next. Other than that I thought it deserves a round of applause.

Summary: A step down
Review: I was disappointed with this continuation of the Zion Covenant story. My key frustration was the lack of vital dynamic relationships between the key characters and God. In the other Zion books, characters wrestled with questions about God's role in the devastation around them. In Twilight, such heart-changing action is relegated to side characters.

Summary: On War and God
Review: Quite possibly the two greatest driving forces in the universe, Brock and Boede Thoene write a version of fiction so real, it makes me want to go down to the library and search for the characters names in the microfisched newspapers. I've been reading their work since I was twelve and I get more and more out of each book every time I read them. This book is a true portrait of struggle with subtle but deeply embedded overtones of faith. The Twilight of Courage is one of brightest stars in my library and a magnificent read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The book was good, but didn't really wrap up the Chronicles
Review: The book was an excellent book to read, but it really does need a sequel to wrap up the Chronicles. The sequel also needs to cover the rest of the war. This way the reader will be prepared to jump into the Covenants and will not have to do a lot of filling in. For example, how did David fall in love with Annie in the Twilight and then fall in love with Ellie in the Zion Covenants?
