Rating: Summary: This book is overrated Review: This book is the most overrated book I have ever seen. The content of this book is ambiguous. The author is vague about his objective. The information lack substance and concrete information, and its evidence and examples are apocryphal. The writing style is repetitive and verbose. I read only half the book because author seems to so full of baloney.

Rating: Summary: the best wave 3 mlm book ever Review: This is not merely a book about the future of Network Marketing, it is also a book that begins to show the future of work, wealth creation and trade for the new Information Age economy. In the Information Age we are all destine to be business owners and to be compensated for the value that we add. Poe shows the history and future of network marketing. Newtork Marketing is one piece of a new business model that is replacing bureaucracy. In regards to negative customer comments yes all books are biased. We are humans living from limited paradigms and we can be nothing else but biased. And Yes Network Marketing has it drawbacks, but so too does bureaucracy and all forms of organization especially before they mature. The real issue is what is Poe telling us about the future of Network Marketing. He is saying that Network Marketing is a work in progress. It is not done. It is part of a new system of work where people do not work as drone employees but as real free market business owners inconnected through the Internet. We will all be compensated for the value we add for others including the referrals we make (which are really relationships). The greatest failing of people in the Information Age will be those who ignore knowledge that they disagree with. This is as opposed to trying to figure out how to synthesize those concepts with their views. Everyone needs to read this book and begin looking to see how the concepts will apply to them, even if they do not become a Network Marketer. Barry Carter (Author Infinite Wealth)

Rating: Summary: An unbiased expert treatment of multilevel/network marketing Review: This very objective work is written by an "outsider", one who is not involved in any MLM, but can be considered an
expert in the field. Richard Poe has researched this topic
for years before publishing articles in Success Magazine
starting in March 1992. Poe gives you all the tips -- what
to do, how to do it, and what to avoid. Without recommending
any specific companies, he details what to look for before
joining any specific MLM. The book is a virtual "field
manual" for networkers.
Rating: Summary: #1 Most Popular Network Marketing Book Review: Though various books are available on network marketing (I've seif-published four of them myself), Poe's is the most popular and best introduction. He explains WHY it works, WHY to do it, WHO is doing it, and HOW to do it. As past senior editor of Success magazine, Poe is not a network marketer per se, but as a professional journalist of high reputation he interviewed enough experts and top performers in the industry to understand and present, with great credibility and clarity, the industry that produces individual distributor incomes of up to hundreds of thousands of dollars per month, even from home. Poe's respectability and conservative image has boosted network marketing's overall image and reputation since Wave Three was published a few years ago. Poe named me in Wave Three as analyst and watchdog of the industry, but this book has made my watchdog role easier in that the book has raised awareness of proper principles and also has reduced some companies' abuses by educating the public regarding what to expect from responsible MLM companies and how to choose one of the better ones. Wave Three may be the most popular book ever written on the subject, and is "MUST reading" even though Poe followed this with a Wave Four title. If you want to read an insightful, solidly researched, responsible, credible, informative and engaging book on network marketing, you can do no better than with these pages.
