Rating: Summary: My favorite Anne Perry Review: This book has been my favorite of all the Thomas Pitt series. I love how Anne Perry investigates all levels of victorian London. This one caught my attention and I could hardly put it down. I highly recommend Anne Perry!
Rating: Summary: Worth the effort... Review: This novel is moderately paced and does keep the reader's interest from waning. The sudden acceleration in the last 20 pages, and the twist those pages entail, certainly leaves one stunned (but not dis-appointed) in its suprise ending.I would not make a specif trip to a bookstore to buy her novels at their suggested retail prices; however if the store's Mystery Section had a sale on, I would be browsing to see if I can find another novel by her.
Rating: Summary: Another winner for Anne Perry Review: Thomas once again investigates a murder suspect among Victorian London's upper crust. Prostitutes have been subject to ritual murder, and Pitt solves the case. Or so he thinks. Immediately after one murderer is hanged, another woman is killed in the exact same way. Pitt's credibility is on the line here--is the young ambassador-to-be and his good-old-boys' club guilty or innocent? You won't know until you get to the last couple of pages. .
