Summary: If you are a woman in the "business" you should read it.
Review: I greatly enjoyed Dawn Steel's book, "They Can Kill You, But They Can't Eat You." It's comforting to know that others have been before you knocking down walls. It was a great read. She gives great advice. I highly recommend it for anyone who is in the "business" who dares to do the impossible.

Summary: The kind of advice your best girlfriend would give you...
Review: I happened upon Dawn Steel's book and fell for the title. She speaks honestly and with humor about her triumphs and her trials, demonstrating that to succeed, you must first take some risks. I was saddened to learn of her death a couple of years ago--she's someone I wish I'd known in person.
