Review: A teacup full of roses was such a wonderful book.I enjoyed its so much. The character I liked the most was Joe. He seemed to be the strongest person out of the family even though he did'nt believe he was going to graduate he seemed like he worked very hard to try to graduate. The family was going through alot of problems . Paul was on drugs ; the father acted like he did'nt wanted to be apart of the family. Aunt lou always talked about death. The mother worked very hard to try to keep the family together. I encourage others to read it because a family problems teacup full of roses would be a good book for every one.

Review: although i have never read the book, i think the title is self explanatory. its mission is to be all deep and stuff, but its mission was not completed. i read books by a never failing system, and thats to always judge a book by its cover.

Review: I enjoyed reading the novel, A Teacup Full Of Roses by
Sharon Mathis. I think it's a great novel for anybody to read.
It teaches adults and young adults lessons they can learn from.
It gives the reader an idea of how an average family can have
problems and are willing to solve them. My favorite character
was Joe. I think he was a good boy who had a positive attitude
toward negative issues his family had been going through.
Overall, this was a good book to read and learn from.

Summary: Teacup Full of Roses Review
Review: I enjoyed the book "A Teacup Full of Roses" because I put myself in the story. I have three brothers and one is younger than I am. I thought of Paul of being my youngest brother, not beacause Paul is addicted to drugs, but because my little brother struggles in school. I feel it's my job to help him in any way I can.
My favorite character was Joe because I see myself being a lot like him. I'm always helping my little brother and sometimes I feel like giving up, but I don't. In the story, Joe is always trying to do the right thing. He tries to help Paul, but Paul doesn't appreciate the help he gets.
A lot of teenagers go through a lot of problems, like peer presure, drugs and all sorts of stuff. Some teenagers make the wrong decisions, but others ignore all that and concentrate on their studies. Sometimes teens have problems in thier family's and teens do bad things, eithr to get attention or for their own reasons. This book reflects on all of these problems. That is why this is an excellent book to read. It gives problems of how the real world is and how things could change in ablink of an eye.

Summary: A TEA CUP FULL OF ROSES MS SCOTT 8
Review: I liked reading this novel. The beginning was boring and hard to understand. As I kept on reading, the book became clearer and interesting. The main character was Joseph. He was a young poor, black man always in the streets. He hasn't done much with his life, but he's looking to do better. He dropped out of school at a young age. He went back to school attending during the night, and still working a day job. During the story, Joe [short for Joseph]doesn't focus on anyone as much as his younger brother David. David was very smart and very athletic, but his mother didn't notice. She was always focusing on her eldest, useless, drug addicted son Paul and he brought nothing but trouble. Joe would do anything to help David. He was on his way to the navy to set an example for David, and there was nothing good for him at home. When he left he gave all his money he saved to David because he knew that he would do something good with the money.

I would recommend this book to everyone. The lesson to be learned is don't mess around in school or in the streets. Make life a good one because it can be gone with a quickness.

Summary: EMOTIONAL AND EXCITING
Review: I LIKED THIS BOOK BECASUE YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER EXPECTED WHAT HAPPENED TO HAPPEN. AT FIRST IT DESCRIBES THE SITUATION THAT THE FAMILY IS LIVING IN AND GETS US FAMILIAR WITH EVERYONES PERSONALITY'S. THEN BEGAN THE PARTS OF THE STORY WHERE IT SEEMED INTERESTING. IT SHOWED US THE MANY HARD WAYS A PERSON CAN LIVE THEIR LIFE, AND YET NOT GIVE UP. IT HAD MANY SAD SIDES TO IT WHICH WILL MAKE YOU VERY EMOTIONAL. I FEEL THAT THIS BOOK HAS A LOT TO TEACH, AND MANY EXPERIENCES TO LEARN FROM. I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMD THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE.

Review: I really did enjoy this book. I enjoyed it because it showed how a parents love could be unconditional even though the child might have made major mistakes in his or her life.
My favorite character was Davie. He was the type of child that any parent would be very proud of. My least favorite character was Paul. Paul was the type of person that didnt care about life. He was once a very promising basketball player before his life took a turn for the worse and he turned to drugs for comfort instead of basketball.
