Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderful Memories Review: I loved this book as a child and now I love reading it to my students and my own kids. These stories are marvelous to read aloud to children. The repetitive cadences make the silliness that much more fun. The pictures are also great. They have so many tiny little details that can absorb kids for hours.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Tell Me a Mitzi Review: I read this book to both my children when they were little, then to my grandson, and send it as a gift to the older child of the family when a younger child is born. I love this book as did my children and grandson. In fact I have to order a new one, I have kept the first book I read to my daughter, who is not 27 and the mother of my grandchild. The book is fun to read and the pictures are interesting and fun as well.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It Brings Me Back! Review: I recently came across Tell Me A Mitzi in a story book called You Read to me & I'll Read to You. Looking at the illustrations brought me back to my childhood! It was an amazing feeling, I had forgotten all about Mitzi's "trip" in a taxi. I loved Tell Me A Mitzi as a young girl and I love it now as a mom of 3 girls.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: childhood classic Review: i remember reading (and being read to from) this book as a child. the daughter's adventures and misadventures translate into giggling kids and happy parents...to read again and again...
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Universal Appeal Review: My children loved all the stories, while my own favorite is clearly the first one, "Mitzi Takes a Taxi". The stories are well structured, leading to conclusions that are logical yet surprising. We are American expats, assigned to Tokyo for a few years. Because of the vocabulary, structure and enjoyable stories, this book is also well-liked by Japanese moms that want to read books in English to their children.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Funny Classic With Great Illustrations Review: This was a favorite of mine as a little girl. It includes 3 stories told by Martha's mother about "Mitzi" and her family. My 3 year old daughter loves the book too! Though a bit wordy for such a youngster, she enjoys the detailed and humorous pictures. I believe she'll slowly grow into the book and eventually like reading it to herself!
