Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Tender Love Story
Review: Elizabeth Berg makes it seem so easy. Her prose flows right into the heart. Her ear for dialogue is exquisite. I am very impressed by the consistency of her writing across several novels. From one novelist to another, I want to say "Congratulations, Elizabeth. You did it again!"

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful (as usual)
Review: This is absolutely the most beautiful representation of love between a woman and a man, as well as being refreshingly atypical. I read it again and again. I believe that the last two pages of the paperback edition make up the most breathtaking end of a novel ever.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very emotional and tender
Review: "Range of Motion" was my fourth EB book. I loved it just as much as the three previous ones. Lainey keeps herself from falling apart when her husband is in a coma. Her children make it very hard for her to keep it together. Elizabeth Berg is a spectacular writer, and I plan to read more!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Character driven story with great emotion
Review: This book is a relatively quick and easy read. But don't let that fool you -- the emotions the characters tangle with in this story are not quick and easy. Although the book went by fast, I was left with a lingering image in my mind of the characters, and the strange turns that life leads us along as we make our way home.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A good book, but a bit disappointing
Review: This was my first experience with this author. The story was enjoyable, but I felt a little too much time was spent on the fantasy aspect, which could have been better spent developing the characters. I found myself skipping partial paragraphs. Enjoyed the book, but I'm not rushing out to experience this author again.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What a wonderful story
Review: Like other readers, I couldn't put this book down, even though it was sad and painful to read at times. Nothing like reading it on the subway in Boston and have tears spring to your eyes because you are so moved by what you are reading! Ms. Berg tells a story about a phenomenon that I have observed and truly believe. That is, if a family shows love and attention to a patient, other people, including caregivers, will feel the love and show care and concern as well. If a patient is neglected then, caregivers feel, subconciously, that this patient is not deserving of love and thus, not of care and attention. This story tells it all. I loved it.

Summary: Phenomenal
Review: My first Elizabeth Berg novel and I wasn't disappointed for a minute. I was drawn in heavily by the second sentence. There's nothing more to say but "Read it!" You'll see for yourself what a gifted writer Berg is, how easy she is to read, how she can sweep you into the scenes, and keep you wanting more.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I am never disappointed with any of Elizabeth Berg's books.
Review: I love the descriptions and reality of this book. Ms. Berg is one under rated author. She blows Nicolas Sparks away. I recommend all of her books to married women.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Just as moving the second time I read it
Review: What a beautiful love story, and what an amazing gift of descriptive narrative Elizabeth Berg has. So many times I found myself being jolted by a phrase that was so compelling, so perfectly apt. Lainey is a wonderful character, the kind of person you'd want for a best friend. I've read this book twice and loved it just as much the second time!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is the best book I've ever read.
Review: Elizabeth Berg writes about life the way it really is. People in her books talk the people really talk. That's why I love her books. Range of Motion is wonderful because its so emotional. I kept crying. The end of the book is wonderful. I was so relieved. I'd been walking around for two days, while I was reading this book, worried about the people in the book. I was ecstatic at the end of the book when they got their lives back together. If you want to read a book that will change your outlook on your own life, try Range of Motion
