Summary: Breathtaking!!!!!
Review: I have just finished reading Outlander, (which I started reading because it was a big book, and my mother was reading it). They way Ms. Gabaldon takes you through Scotland and the usage of the Scottish "burr" throughout the book feels like I'm in Scotland! I cried when Claire left Jamie and felt heartbroken for Jamie as well. I have just started reading Voyager and this looks like another great book. I can't wait for the next two!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Exciting and marvelous!
Review: These four books (and hopefully there will be more?) are among the most exciting books I've ever read! Mostly I read SCI-FI from the Pen of Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, Roger MacBride Allen etc., but sometimes I take the trip into what - normally - seems like a quite ordinary romance novel. But this story is spellbinding, each book contains approx. 1000 pages, and I have a problem with not read to much!! I really hope that Diana Gabaldon plans to write at least one more book of this series.

It seems that she has dug deep down into the History of Scotland and England, she has created a spellbinding story using the "spells" of old kelt magic - the stone circles of the old age, fairies - the small people, and the plain imagination us "ordinary" people are able to make out by ourselves.

Have a nice reading!!

Summary: This book (the whole series) are simply the best
Review: I have read the whole Outlander series, and I must say they are the best books I have ever read. I am not much into cheesy romance novels, but these books are perfection. They are very deep, but do play on fantasy. I recommed these books to everyone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Leaves you breathless for more
Review: Ok so you pick it up thinking that there will be some good "scenes" you recommend it because you learn more than you ever thought possible. Love, romance, 1700 century, medical terminology, adventure, - the only question is - when does the 5th book come out?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The 2nd BEST book I ever Read!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Dragon Fly In Amber is the second book in a series of four books (so far). If you you enjoy history, romance, mystery, intrigue, and Scotland then you will love these books! Start with the first book Outlander,#2- Dragonfly in Amber,#3- Voyager, &#4- Drums of Autumn.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best historical fiction reads ever!!!
Review: I happened to pick up this book at the airport. My flight was only 1 1/2 hours long then I had to drive an hour to get home. Six hours later I had read half of this book. When I finished two days later I ordered the next two books immediately. I have finished Voyager and am in the middle of Drums of Autumn. It is the best realistic-romantic-escapist novel I have ever read!! Diana Gabaldon is truly a great storyteller!! I hope that there is more to come!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It was the most depressing of the four, and very political.
Review: I realize this book was a necessary step in the set of books, but after Outlander, I think it was too depressing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Without a doubt, one of the best books I have ever read
Review: I've read the trilogy once and I am in the process of reading it again because I received the 4th entry for my birthday. I can hardly wait to see how this wonderful saga continues. Thank you Diana for hours of pleasure. Keep up the great work.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Lovely. It grabs you right away and keeps you there.
Review: Voyager, the first of Gabaldoon's triology (series?), kept me wrapped for a week. I passed the dog-eared copy on to a friend while traveling in France. She opted to stay in with Jamie some nights instead of going out. The stories are well-researched, rich in imagery and the characters are so vivid, they are almost touchable. And boy, wouldn't we all like to touch Jamie!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: WAY TO GO DIANE!
Review: Once again another excellent book in the second series. I love the character of Claire because she is really in a "fix". People in the 1700 think she is a witch and people in her time think she is insane. I couldn't but this whole series down and was up all night reading. This was a great escape for me.
