Summary: Disappointed
Review: I read almost all of the reviews of this book and was very excited about reading it. I'm on page100 and so far NOTHING has happened. I've exhusted all authors I like such as Pollock, ludlum,land Cussler and Cornwell. I'm just glad I didn't buy more of Hunter. How can approx.50 people be right and 1 disappointed. I don't know. But I do know if you like action don't read or try to read this book.

Summary: BEST DAMN BOOK I EVER READ!!!!!!!!
Review: I was actually angry when I finished the book! Not because I didn't like the way it ended. But because it ended! I wanted to go on reading about Bob Lee Swagger,who I had become to think of as a real person, due to the excellant writing skills of Stephen Hunter! I tracked down Mr. Hunter one day just to tell him how much I enjoyed his book and to ask if there would be more about Bob. Also I asked him if there were any plans for a movie. He said he wasn't sure, But we both agreed that Sam Elliot would be perfect for the part. In closing all I can say is I've NEVER been so moved by a book that I hunted down the author to thank him for writing it!!

Summary: OUTSTANDING! The Tom Clancy of the shooting world!
Review: Stephen Hunter has done his homework and it shows. Technically accurate and you you don't have to be a "gun-type" to enjoy this thriller! You do, however, have to plan to stay up late with this one. Mr. Hunter makes several referances to "Carl Hitchcock" but we Marines know he's talking about "Whitefeather" himself. That's how "real" this story is!

Review: If you know nothing about guns before you read this book, you will have a love for them afterwards. I loved this book, and the end is unforgetable. It was packed with action and was a trill a minute. I definitely suuggest this book to anyone who likes a good action packed read.
