Summary: Wow!
Review: This book was my intro to the world of Stephen Hunter, and made me an instant fan. I purchased "Point of Impact" and read it in 2 days while on vacation. Couldn't wait to get the other three novels in the Bob Lee Swagger "universe". Hunter's characters read like real people. His heroes suffer from alcoholism, adultry, and other real life problems that only the "bad guys" in writers like Tom Clancy's works have to deal with. They all have a sense of "duty" that doesn't necessarily run through their whole lives. They usually are dedicated to their their jobs, but have problems fulfilling their duties at home, though they love their families dearly. This is very realistic in my experience. I recommend this novel and its companions to anyone who likes a good read.

Review: Stephen Hunter is the best thrill writer in the world. I have read five of his books, and amazingly, they were all outstanding. He is one of the few authors that I've seen who has been able to create multiple books using the same character and make all the stories differ completely.Point of Impact is the best book he's written, along with Dirty White Boys. Hunter has inspired me to begin writing books myself. Look for "The Dysfunctional Family" within two years.

Summary: Blown away by Bob "The Nailer" Swagger
Review: Ok what a corny cutline, but this book does "hit the bullseye".. it does start a little slowly, but it certainly builds momentum.. I definately wanted to hear more about Bob the Nailer. Hunter evokes the excruciating detail of a master sniper in action without it ever getting dull. I thought it was much better than any clancy I had read lately.. put this guy on the "Rainbow" squad.

Review: I've really been enjoying this book, it had been hanging around the house for awhile and I just picked it up and started reading it, and bam I was hooked. I have one question that's been driving me nuts, and maybe someone can help. Has this book been made into a movie, and if so what is the movie called?

Review: The first time that I read this book I was blown away. You will stay up all night with one!!! I have read all of Hunter's books and this is clearly his best, followed closely by Dirty White Boys.

Review: Picked this up on a whim one day and have not stopped reading Stephen Hunter. Better than Ludlum, as good as Clancy. Read this, then read Dirty White Boys and Black Light - together they are an excellent trilogy. Time to Hunt was decent, and we finally learn about Donny Fenn. Read them. You'll be a Bob Lee Swagger fan for life.

Review: This is the absolute best story you will ever read.I have read Impact at least 5 times and also all the other Swagger books.Been a fan since the FIRST publishing of MASTER SNIPER. We need 1. A Movie 2. A new Character molded in the image of Bob Lee. Mabey expand on Nick Memphis?

Review: I recommended this book to all my friends and they all have thanked me profusely after reading it. This is the best book I have ever read. Bob Lee Swagger captures perfectly my concept of true heroism, bravery and honor- the things that made America great. Read it- I guarantee you will scramble to read the sequel: Blacklight.
