Summary: good presentation, good selection of words.
Review: i found these tapes are decently good. they became like my buddies. i enjoy listening to them. most of the words are very useful in day to day life.

Review: This one's fun! Great vocabulary; entertaining stories with good acting; and the best format for reinforcing words I've heard so far. (I just ordered a copy for my niece and nephews.) Find out about the capricious, dilettante mechanic; what Appalachian Clem fears will be proscribed; whether the diamond cutter is venal... What a find! I'm as sanguine as the archeologist in volume 1. Congratulations Audio Univ/Bantum Audio Publishing! You've bested Princeton Review (Word Smart), Peter Funk of Funk and Wagnall (Word Power), Paul Altman (600 Words You Need to Know) and all the others I've listened to. My only concern is that buyers intending to purchase another volume will erroneously select one of the other vocab tapes that begin with 'Word'.
