Summary: Truly Fantastic!
Review: This has to be one of the best books I have ever read, I love it. Terry Pratchett manages convinces you that we are odd, don't ask why I said that. But if you think about it Rincewind (a Wizard who did not get his Wizardry certificate from the Unseen University) has a bit of every one inside him while missing curiosity. This how ever, appeared in the Colour of Magic under the name of Two Flower who is a traveller which I think is rather clever, because a tourist is curios of the country that he/she is going to. In this story you can imagin Kingdoms in the sky, see Two Flower playing cards with the 4 horse-men of the Apocolypse (Death by the way rides a horse called Binky, & loves curry and cats), and take humerous trip round Ank Morpork the city where all roads are supposedto lead in to is actually the opposite: all roads lead OUT of it. Any way top class book read it.

Summary: Strt from the beginning
Review: If you're going to read Discworld books (which you SHOULD!!!!!!), start from the beginning with Colour of Magic, then read the rest - then you'll see the evolution of the series.

Having said that, this is still a damn good book. Reading it after the rest of the Discworlds would be a definate anticlimax, but it's still very very very good :)

Read it, but read it after COM and before the rest of the series.

Summary: Far from the best!
Review: This book is OK, althought it isn't even a half as good as the later Discworld books. So why isn't this book as good?

That's becouse there's nothing more than simple jokes here. In the later books, Prathcett puts in more thoughts about life and such, and it isn't just funny laughing all the time. But don't get me wrong. This still is worth to read!

Summary: The Fantastic Light Fantastic
Review: This is the book to have if you like Terry Pratchett's humor.I loved this book because it has such an interesting story with all sorts of twists and turns with Twoflower trying to teach Death, War, Famine and Pesitlence how to play Bridge. If you like magic and broomsticks with handlebars, this is the book to have.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Caution! You'll be hooked.
Review: Be forewarned. You are about to develop a habit. If you read one Terry Pratchett novel, you'll have to read them all. Pratchett is a brilliant humorist and satirist whose work actually defies classification. Get them all. You'll read them over and over again.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Must-have for Discworld Fans, and even for ones who don't...
Review: Simply: This book isn't the greatest book I've ever read. There are a lot of other books, espacially Discworld ones, who are better. But still, this remains a classic. The characters are great (espacially such as Cohen), the story offers memorable moments, and it simply carry you away... The only problem is that you can't read this book without reading 'The Color of Magic' first. But since I don't persume you are going to buy it without knowing ANYTHING about the Discworld, I don't think it's a problem.
