Review: I've read all the books in the Redwall Series except The Long Patrol and Pearls of Lutra. Marlfox was not as good as Redwall or Mariel of Redwall. There was hardly any battles and I didn't like the writing tecnique.

Review: I think this book is one of it's kind, as well as the whole series. Any reader will love it, even if you don't like fantasy and adventure. It's crazy, I started this book one morning and couldn't put it down. I finished it that same night! You definatly need to read it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: Marlfox is the eleventh book in the Redwall series, and it is no worse than the first. No Redwall books have failed to touch my heart, make me laugh, or make me think once I'm finished, "Wow, that really was a great story. Can't wait to read the next one." Even if you have never read the first book, I suggest you read this one. I guarantee, once you read one Redwall book, you will come back for more. The Marlfoxes in this book may be one of the best, most creative villains that author Brian Jacques has ever created. They are ruthless and menacing, clever and cunning. They make for a certain, "Gee, how will they ever get out of this one?" thought in every reader's mind. I definitely recommend this book.

Review: I've read every Redwall novel, and Marlfox definitely lower my opinion of the series. Jacques puts an interesting spin on this book, mentioning many characters from previous books and introducing a new species (the Marlfoxes). Jacques maintains his crown as a master of fantasy.
