Summary: A Triumph, Indeed
Review: The thought that just won't go away when reading this book is "Why, oh, why didn't Petrocelli try the criminal case?" Of course, knowing what we know about the criminal jurors, maybe no one could have won with that jury. In any event, it is truly a delight to read the sections with Simpson on the stand, stumbling over his own lies, equivocating, spinning, and making it up on the fly. The arrogant celebrity murderer is exposed from page 1 for the truly despicable jerk he is. The O. J. Simpson case is somewhat unique in that closure was needed for not only the victims' families, but for the millions outraged by the unfathomable criminal verdict. I am happy to say that Petrocelli gave the Goldmans and the Browns a little of that closure, and with this book, he provides some for the rest of us as well. Required reading for those still angry about the trial, or, God forbid, anyone who still maintains Simpson's innocence. Too bad this is out of print; grab a copy if you can.

Summary: The Freshest and Most Complete picture of the entire saga!!!
Review: This book captures you from the first page. Just when you think nothing new can be brought to this tragedy which has enveloped the nation, we finally have the truth....not bogged down in the issues which have clouded every other story.

Mr Petrocelli has spoken the words that were in my heart....and truths I *felt* all along. Thank you, sir, for restoring my faith in the Justice system. Wish it all (justice system)would operate by the standards we see here. I would encourage anyone to pick up and read this book.

Summary: A good summer read!
Review: This book was not as objective in its treatment of the subject as American Tragedy was, but I found it entertaining and interesting. Mr. Petrocelli does seem to become rather full of himself and the righteousness of his mission, and his point of view, though passionate, is a little more than slanted and a little less than believable. It is evident to me that lawyers seem to construct their own verdicts pre-trial then go about seeking every advantage to bring that verdict home. There's very little about a trial that involves getting to the truth of the matter.

Summary: Finally: closure on the Simpson saga!
Review: This is a great read about the real, authentic search for the truth about the O.J. Simpson double-murder case. The story captured me from start to finish and has details that were not brought out in the criminal trial or were ignored then. Furhman and Bugliosi's books are also good, but Petrocelli's puts the lid on this can of worms. It tells how the justice system should work, whether or not there's money involved. It makes the criminal trial look like it truly was: injustice.

Summary: Spellbinding
Review: This is a riveting account of the second Simpson trial, made more powerful by the fact that at first, prosecutor Petrocelli was sympathetic to Simpson. At times, Petrocelli tells you more than you need to know about every member of the prosecution team, and he occasionally overdoes the sports metaphors, but this is more than made up for by his command of the case and his passion for justice. His account of his cross-examination of Simpson is one of the most powerful narrations I've read in a long time. You wish he'd been in charge of the criminal case.

I disagree with Amazon.com's decision to let one of the other reviewers use this page to plug his own product. What a surprise that reviewer wasn't satisfied with Petrocelli's book!

Summary: Excellent and fascinating piece of work.
Review: This is absolutely one of the best books that I have ever read and is certainly the best of the "crime of the century" books. There is little doubt, when you lay this book down, who killed Nicole and Ron.

Summary: Brilliant
Review: This is the book on the Simpson trials that I've been waiting to see for a long time. Articulate, intelligent, and truthful.

Summary: Better than most novels
Review: This was a fun read -- better than most mystery-murder novels that are out now. His chapter on the "Lethal Paralegal" had me laughing out loud. If you're looking for a good "airplane" book, this is the one. It's long enough to keep you entertained for a transcontinental flight.

Summary: Compelling and satisfying. Very well written.
Review: Triumph of Justice does more than retell the story of the OJ Simpson civil trial. It has heart. Mr. Petrocelli's voice is strong and honest. A breath of fresh air on the matter.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent book on the OJ case
Review: Truimph of Justice is an excellent book on the Civil Trial,of OJ Simpson, aka The Killer.
Daniel Petrocelli writes clearly and keeps the reader interested at all times. The reader is informed of all details and legal jargon is explained very well.Mr Petrocelli's thoughts on the case are balanced, and he is not biased, because anyone reviewing the evidence against Simpson would come to the conclusion that Simpson is CLEARLY guilty of double homicide. The writing makes you feel sad for Fred Goldman and his family who endured the murder of their son and the not gulity verdict of the man who obviously killed him and Nicole.
That Simpson was found guilty in the Civil trial is justice for the Goldmans and the Browns, because it was never about the money
that Simpson was ordered to pay(33 million)but it was about accountability.I have read reviews of this book and other books on the case and some people still come to the conclusion that Simpson didnt do it...i find that mindset laughable.Read the book and find out what a selfish rotten individual Simpson really is,hes a wife beater and a double murderer,
