Summary: OH BROTHER
Review: Did they really make a movie out of this boring book? It was dull, dull, dull.I could put this one down but like the title said ''The waiting Game" well I waited for nothing!

Summary: Classic JAK!
Review: Frankly, I don't think the other reviewers and I read the same book. If you enjoy JAK, especially her earlier categories, you're going to love this book. World-weary Adrian Saville is the quintessential Krentz hero - an alpha male who recognizes his mate when he finds her. Bright and optimistic, Sara Frazier is the perfect foil for Adrian, and her strength and intelligent match his perfectly. The suspense is tightly woven and utterly engrossing. Read this book!

Summary: Classic Jayne Ann Krentz
Review: I agree with the reviewer who wondered if she'd read the same book as the others who have commented. If you love JAK, you'll love THE WAITING GAME. It's on my keeper shelf (in the original issue), and when I reread it recently I enjoyed it almost as much as I had the first time around.

Summary: READER BEWARE! New cover disguises reissue!
Review: I believe this title was originally published as a part of the Temptation line.

I've been reading Jayne Ann Krentz since she published as Jayne Castle for Candlelight Romances many years ago. She then moved over to Silhouette books and published there as Stephanie James (Desire, Special Edition) and Jayne Ann Krentz (Intimate Moments). Obviously I like how and what she writes. Jayne is has become a very popular and well developed author and her titles are snapped up as soon as they hit the bookstores. Therefore, greedy publishers wanting to get more dollars from avid readers, REISSUE early titles. It doesn't matter that the older works were not as sophisticated as new writings(some are extremely formuladic, some are very good and memorable), all the publishers care about are the dollars.

Through sad experience I've learned to ALWAYS check the copyright date before buying books by popular authors such as Krentz, Roberts, Coulter, Johanson, Spencer, etc. I feel that it is a scam by the publishers on the reading public to not state somewhere on the cover that the book was previously published. And, some publishers looking for greater dollars are reissuing works originally marketed as paperbacks in hardcover, where they can get many dollars more.

Summary: Boring
Review: I buy all of Jayne Ann Krentz's books without even reading the back cover and have always liked them. This one was a total disappointment, it was very boring and I simply couldn't generate any interest in the story. I couldn't relate to the characters and found Adrian to be unrealistic. All in all, reading this book was a waste of time.

Summary: Audiobook Review
Review: I found this book full of humor and quite different from JAK's others. The twists kept me wondering what to expect and I enjoyed them immensly. This is a book to read carefully and at least twice. Trust me I don't say this about any novel!

Please read my other reviews and tell me if they helped you.

Summary: Audiobook Review
Review: I listened to the audiobook recording of Jayne Ann Krentz's The Waiting Game and though the story itself was good I just wasn't happy with the reader she didn't change her voice for the different characters so it was hard at times to figure out who said what, I had to rewind the tape back a bit several times because I wasn't sure if it Was Sara or Adrian who was supposed to be talking and personally I like it when the reader makes his or her voice sound different for each character and since I didn't find this audiobook very entertaining it's not going to be one of my keepers! I definitely liked the plot though and I hope to buy the paperback book.

Summary: A Great Read!
Review: I thought this book was great! Plain and simple. I was "on the edge of my seat" while reading it. I thought it was very suspensful and well written. One of her best ones. I just wish I could see the movie but I can't seem to find it on VHS anywhere.. <so if anyone knows where I canfind that just email me :) >
