Summary: The second best book I have read thus far!!
Review: Childress is an absolute genius! The wa that he alternates between Lucille and Peejoe remined me a lot of the way Judith Guest alternated between Calvin and Conrad. My favorite chapters were Lucille's! Although some people would argue that Lucille is a slut, and that her chapters were unreal, I don't think I would have loved the book as much if her chapters weren't in there. I found myself readign Peejoe's chapters a lot slower than Lucille's. Her adventures after killing Chester fully captured my attention. I think it was the fact that Lucille's life was something that you would never have read about anywhere else; Peejoe's was just a typical story about a boy learning about a different race. I definately have to give props to Mark Childress for writing "Crazy in Alabama." It was one of the best I have ever read!

Summary: I LOVE TUPPERWARE, TOO!!!!
Review: This is the greatest book ever if you liked this book read Naked. Lucille is a great character all women should aspire to be like her. Although I was upset with the ending it was still fabulous. Mr. Jamison is a great teacher for letting us read this book. The I LOVE TUPPERWARE was Stephanie S. I however am Stephanie B. she didn't put her name on hers and forced me to write this. You'll never put it down. It is a fab book.

Review: I gave the book three stars because I didn't think it worked out in a school setting. If I were to have read it on my own I may have enjoyed it a little more. The book wasn't bad at all. I didn't really like Lucille's chapters. They were somewhat far-fetched. But other than those few things, the book was okay.

Summary: One of the most enjoyable books I've read in a while.
Review: Reading this book was a great outlet for our class. It gave us a nice break. I love the characters and how they all fit together to form a very well written novel. The two main characters, Lucille and PeeJoe, were perfect for each other because they were contradicting. Lucille was very farfetched, almost to the point of unbelievability, but PeeJoe kept her down to earth with his very realistic racial-discrepancy chapters. Overall, it stayed alive and was never boring. If you want a good book, read this one. It's awesome!!

Review: I absolutly loved this book. It was extremly rich in creativity and the characters were developed beautifully. I loved the way that 2 stories were going on at once. This created an atmosphere like very few books have and kept me entertained all the way 'til the end. Lucille and Peejoe were terrific main characters and well presented.

Summary: Some crazy stuff!!!!
Review: This is the best book yet. I had to read this book for a class in school. It's a class where we have to read 6-8 books in one semester and this is one. Out of the three books we read, Crazy is number 1!! Lucille annoyed me a little but in the end I enjoyed reading about her and finding out what happended to her. Peejoe was my favorite and I loved to read about him and his situations. They were so real and I could definitely see his situations. It was a very visual book and very well detailed. Mark Childress has written a masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!! GO MARK!!!!!!

Summary: Good story,Confusing Message!
Review: I liked this story a lot! It was fun to read and the charaters were interesting. I liked Peejoe's character as much as I disliked Lucilles'. I wish the ending would have been a little different. I felt bad for Dove because he lost everything just for doing what he thought was right. I hated the way Lucille got off free. Overall,it was an enjoy- able story worthy of reading.

Review: This book had quite an appealing sense of humor. The auther knew just how to make the reader very interested. Where the author came up with the entire idea, is beyond me. You have to be slightly crazy to think of that idea. Although I really did like the book. It's not one of the best I have ever read!!!

Review: From the very begining you could tell this was going to be a really funny, really great book. I liked the two diffrent stories they had going on at once, it added humor to something very serious and added something serious to the humor. The ending was really great also. Part of it made me want to cry. This book is definatly worth reading.
