Rating: Summary: A Page Turner Review: I rolled with laughter as Sir Spivey, the resident curmugeon ghost, attempts to "help" clear his home of boarders. His wit and comments leave a comic edge to a very sensual novel that twists and turns as we unfold the story of Count Etranger and Meg Smiles, a simple parson's daughter. Unlike some romance novels, Stella Cameron, inserts a real mystery that just begs to be solved and leaves you not wanting to put it down until you are done. It is an all night read for me!
Rating: Summary: I have read better Review: Maybe its just me or maybe I have finally realized I'm not a big fan of Cameron, but I really didn't like this book very much. Interesting concept, but Cameron didn't really pull it off. Some interesting moments that pulled at my heart strings. But Meg was a mediocre heroine and her leading guy was not really memorable. And the ghost? He wasn't very interesting and if he was supposed to be funny, well, it missed the mark. 'All Smiles' was alright, but I wish I had waited to buy it at a used bookstore.
Rating: Summary: Loved this book! Review: Not sure what book the reader from Kissimmee, FL read but it could not have been this one. I could not put it down and it is now in my bookcase with Stella's other 40+ books. Stella Cameron readers enjoy complex plots full of colorful characters. All Smiles is another book in this tradition. I recommend Cameron's novels for those readers who want a fun, engrossing and intelligent read. So far all of my friends haved loved the book as well.
Rating: Summary: Love the ghost! Review: Okay, its true that no plot is new but this one is fabulous! What a great concept to have a ghost trying to redeem itself through love. I read every one of Stella's books. One question for the reader from Long Island...if you don't like Stella's books why do you keep reading them? There must be something about them that hooks you. Maybe the unique character developement, the kind that sets her books apart from any other romance author currently publishing, IS what you really want. Don't fight it... To everyone else I say "BUY THIS BOOK and get ready for a lot of fun." I am excited that this is part of series.
Rating: Summary: All Frowns Review: Others have already summarized the story for you. I am simply going to say that I found that there were too many unnecessary sub-plots. Meg, the heroine, went from being a free thinking, independent, and passionate woman with Prince Jean-Marc one moment, to a "wimp" with others who were either downright rude or demanding the next. I thought that Cameron couldn't decide who she wanted as her villian and so one minute it was the ghost. The next it was the prince's rude mistress, and yet another time it was her distant male cousin. I believe that romance books should leave me wanting to rush out and buy the author's next novel. I believe that romance novels are a neat past time that entertain better than TV and should make you cry a little and smile alot. This one just made me tired!
Rating: Summary: There's something about a Frenchman >sigh!< Review: Stella Cameron's novels of Mayfair Square make me want to live there! I read ALL SMILES several wks ago but still remember the charm of the characters, their touching vulnerabilities and most of all, the way Meg wins over the count. Looking for Desiree's story next, PLEASE! :-)
Rating: Summary: Good But Not Cameron's Best Review: The Mayfair stories are delightful but still not up to Cameron's usual delights. This story is funny, sad, cute and sexy. Jean-Marc and Meg are a delight. He so magnificent and authorative and Meg so assertive and commanding. It is nice to see a heroine who is not stupid, timid and has no backbone. The dialogue is fast paced and the story moves at an adequate pace. Even if not her best, it's a Cameron, what more can I say.

Rating: Summary: My first and last Stella Cameron book Review: Three words--this book stinks. Only a few pages into the book, I was bored silly and wondering why so many characters were involved in such a dumb plot. It's already in my "To the Used Bookstore" pile.
Rating: Summary: Stella Cameron defines romance Review: When their father, a rural vicar dies, sisters Meg and Sybil Smiles move to London's 7 Mayfair Square, home of an unhappy ghost, Sir Spivey. The spirit plans to force the two sibling out of his home by matchmaking the outgoing Meg with a nearby resident. Meg realizes that the sisters have a financial problem. She applies for employment as a companion to seventeen-year-old Princess Desiree of Mont-Nuages, a tiny country on the Italy-France border. Meg's plan is to net a wealthy spouse while serving as a guide to Desiree. Meg needs to persuade Desiree's older stepbrother Jean-Marc, Count Etranger that she can do the job. Surprisingly, Jean-Marc hires Meg. As Meg works closely with Desiree, she and Jean-Marc fall in love. However, he is the heir to the throne and she would never suit as his queen. Then again, his uncle plans to destroy the only contender to being the next monarch of Mont-Nuages even if it means killing Meg. ALL SMILES is an entertaining Regency romance that provides a fresh look at Stella Cameron's superb 7 Mayfair series. The story line is crisp and the entry of Jean-Marc and Desiree provides a different perspective of the lives of Europe's early nineteenth century aristocracy. Meg is a wonderful and brave character whose antics adds depth to the fireworks. Sub-genre fans will demand Sybil's story soon. Harriet Klausner
