Summary: Captivating!
Review: This is my first book by Jasmine Cresswell and I am truly impressed.

When Professor Summer Shepherd is kidnapped, the FBI has no choice to negotiate with the kidnappers because she is the daughter of the secretary of state. Why she was kidnapped remains a mystery, along with why the kidnappers decided to send the ransom note to Duncan Ryder, Summer's despised step-mother's brother.

Duncan, who has been in love with Summer for years, orchestrates Summer's release and helps convince authorities she didn't plan her own kidnapping. While the two are getting closer, they must also try to solve the mystery as to why Summer was kidnapped and try to release Summer's friend Joe Malone from the kidnappers.

All in all a great book. I was truly surprised by the ending! Whew, what a finale!
