Summary: reshad feild, man of inspiration
Review: First, it was amazing that this book was on the quick pick list. I hope this opens the door to the teachings of Reshad Feild. Inspired is an overworked word, and yet this describes this book. It is written in short chapters covering a multitude of subjects such as Knowledge, Respect, Breath, Consciousness. In the chapter called Recognition, he says: "When we are grateful we can see....When we are grateful, light fills our hearts and we are able to see the world as it truly is, the wonder that it truly is. Love fills our hearts. PErhaps one day we will be in love all the time; what a possibility. Well, we can, we all can be in love. Then, wherever we stand is holy ground." (Page 42.) I was honored to attend a Zikr in Santa Fe where Reshad was the leader. It was a wonderful evening. He is a Sufi and espouses the philosophy beautifully without trying to proselytize. A wonderful book to keep, to underline, to re-read and to share.
