Summary: Best Sidney Sheldon
Review: I believe I have read every Sidney Sheldon novel there is, and I find this one to be the best. Heart wrenching. Jennifer Parker is his most appealing creation: beautiful, intelligent, and tough. We are with her from the moment her career is obliterated to her fantastic rise to the heights of success. Sections about her son's kidnapper and his Christ obsession were truly ingenious. Who would have ever thought of this? The ending is sad but necessary. A happy ending might have been too contrived. I respect Sheldon for going with the more believable although unpopular ending.

Summary: great story....too sad of an ending
Review: I was completely wrapped up in this book, until the death scene. How horrible, I was crying so hard. I also was not a fan of the ending. If the ending had been different, I definately would have given this book five start. however, it left me way to depressed.

Summary: Beautiful story, such a sad ending!!
Review: I must tell you that along with everyone else, I thought the story was brilliant, and I too could not put it down, and even though I've finished reading it, I still pick it up and hope it ends differently, maybe I missed something and she actually stays with Michael (I liked Michael more than Adam) But why did they have to kill the kid??? I thought about the story all night long. Too sad, we need happier endings.

Review: When you start reading this book you have no idea what you are getting yourself into! You can't stop reading! Plus it has so many plot twists that by the end you can't remember how it started. The characters are so well outlined, I found myself thinking like Jennifer! If you've been looking for a good book, this is it. I'm a newborn Sidney Sheldon fan! The ending may dissapoint you a bit......but the story is worth it!

Review: I hardly put this book down when I was reading this it 6-7 years ago. My sister and my brother loved this novel. The characters are very well developed and the plot is totally unthinkable. Very fascinating indeed. However the ending is quite dissappointing. It could have been written in a more tasteful manner.

Review: I loved this book! it was my first Sidney Sheldon and I could not put it down. I started it at 8pm and finished it at 3am. I loved all the characters, especially Michael Morretti, That might b kinda strange since he is 'Mafia' but I thought that he RoCKED! Best, best, best book! Hoping to read more Sheldon's soon!

Review: What a book! Best I've read in quite awhile. He kept my attention throughout, and didn't give the standard outcomes of situations that you sometimes get in other books. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

Summary: Excellent story-telling and plot, so so ending
Review: I liked the book, and like all Sidney Sheldon novels, I had to miss a class in order to finish it because I simply was unable to put it down. The book was so entertaining, but the ending was so depressing. It was inspiring in a way, but it was also upsetting in a way. I trully wished it had ended differently, as it was somewhat of a surprise. Maybe he will write up another book continuing the saga and ...anyway, that's it.
