Summary: "ANOTHER GEM FROM SIDNEY SHELDON"
Review: Any book of Sidney's earlier works is a GEM. He is the master blaster and literally blows the wind out of the other authors.
I have almost all his books.
somehow his latest 2/3 books dont captivate you much....
But his earlier works are simply amazing...
the plot, the characterisation, the climax everything is simply great.
All my friends and me are his fans and are waiting for his next release.
Sidney! oblige us FAST....

Summary: A bit dissapointed....
Review: Jennifer Parker has finally accomplished what she has worked her whole life for, being a lawyer. Her dreams come crashing down on her first day at trial and her first day on the job and she is now facing jail and disbarrment. The story that follows is of Jennifer overcoming obstacles and prevailing. I don't believe that as popular as she was that no one would have known about her son.

I was so dissapointed with the ending that I almost cried. It was the biggest letdown that I have had in a book and I have read some books that have bad endings. That is why I had to give this book three stars.

Summary: What a story!
Review: Always looking for a new author I can get behind, I took the advise of many friends and read this book. WOW! Normally I am a "Romantic, man & woman meet fall in love have a problem get back together" sort of story-lover. This is more like a rollercoaster ride of life. For fear of giving anything away if you read the book but wanting anyone who will listen to read this and be inspired to read this book: Sheldon gives you fantastic character developement. You have a heroine who you can't help but want to cheer on, a supporting hero who you want to like but for the fact that he's married, and a lead hero who you want to hate but just can't because he's to dangerously enchanting. The book is about a lady lawyer and the trials (no pun intended) of her life. During the coarse of the story I kept thinking how is Sheldon going to fix "all this" by the end of the book, and the answer is simple: This is not a story where everything gets fixed. When I first read the back of the book the last line was " they find a love that is more destructive than hate". At first my interpretation was that it was a love that could destruct hate, but now after reading the book the hard part to handle was it meant the love itself was more destructive to the characters than hate was. There are a million love stories that are "Happy ever after", I've read hundreds of them, this is love with some twists and turns, but every bit as fantastic.

This book is very worth reading and grips you right from the start. Sheldon has a way with words that allows you to become part of the story. I hope that you give it a go. I look forward to reading more Sheldon novels! : )

Summary: Facinating!
Review: Wonderful novel about a briiliant and courages young lawyer, the trials and triumps of her life. Wonderful characterisation, Parker emerges as a tough and independent woman weighed by morality and her desires. Micheal the mesmerising and charismatic mafia lord, who becomes Parkers lover remains on of the most memorable and intriging charaters of modern fiction.
All of you who love the dangerous and intriguing world of the mafia and strong and courages heroines will love this book.

It contains all the elements which Sidney Sheldon is famous for like a strong background & an independent female character. This book is really worth reading.

Summary: Really Great...and Really Sad
Review: Man, if I thought If Tomorrow Comes and Stars Shine Down were my favorite Sidney Sheldon books, I was wrong. Mr. Sheldon writes good, well-meaning women with a bad break. I felt so sorry for Jennifer Parker and the predicament she found herself in in the beginning of the book that brought the best and the worst to her life. I think the man she loved the most did the most damage. Also, I admit that I was angry about the negative events towards the end of the book and wish it had had a happier end, but such is life. I couldn't decide whether I wanted her to die and be free or live and be that miserable. Despite the unidealistic falling action, I'm still committed to Sheldon fandom.

Summary: Sydney Sheldon Has Mastered The Title Of Mystery Supremacist
Review: Of all this author's efforts available, this is the one I enjoyed the most. I read this book before becoming a teenager sometime soon after its release back in the 70's. I have since read many of his novels, several previous and a few subsequent. Although back then with the vocabulary/grammar knowledge I had, my perspective of readings weren't so-called `mature`. However, I do remember keeping a dictionary by side, as I obviously needed help with many definitions. For the month and a half I visited my grandparent's island cottage along with my five siblings and close relatives (uncle, aunt, cousins, etc.), I lay on the porch hammock reading the book. Along with the satisfying Georgian Bay breeze and occasional boat/sailboat, the conditions were nearly perfect for a youngster's summer ambition. Almost Heaven in fact to me as it also prompted my subsequent interest(s) with different authors/books in category. The thing I have always appreciated about Sheldon is that from the first page of his novels never does he give the suspended approach to readers. Being the storyteller, never does he get caught up with his own plot writings as instead he keeps close tab of what he believes best remains congruent with interpretation/imagination majorities. As such, his themes have always had overwhelming appeal to people in general. In other words, he keeps it intriguingly simple, stupid. However, if you consider yourself included among a transitional class, the ultimate advantage you gain. So let Jennifer Parker resonate her near thorium succession of events while you independently transpire/comprehend their justification of consequence...
