Summary: This is the greatest book in the world!
Review: It is best if you read "The Greatest Salesman in the World" first as this book carries on with the story in that book. It's not of upmost importance - just gives you a little background. The most important thing in the world is that you read this book above all else. When I read it for the first time in 1986 I had just been told I had Cancer and wasn't expected to live too long and I was 25 years old. This book gave me the will to fight for my life, which I did and won! I cryed so hard for days after finishing this book - it touched me so deeply and continues to each time I re-read it. I have given copies to many people who have also found it a life changing experience like none other. What can I say - I love Og Mandino with all my heart and am eternally grateful for his gifts.

Summary: A totally awesome book. Recommended it to many.
Review: It was as if this book was about me. There were so many instances that was, "wow". The storyline was amazing. Og and Simon had a relationship that was simple yet complex. The end had me wanting to run out and buy the next one.

Summary: Another Winner of a Book
Review: Mandino has contributed another masterpiece to the success/motivation literature. A quote attributed to Seneca helps sum up this book's theme, "soil, no matter how rich, could not be productive without cultivation and neither could our minds." This book provides the proper nourishment for the productive mind. The familiar aphorism "you are what you think" is developed in compelling fashion. Mandino is skilled in maintaining a bit of mystery as he expands upon principles familiar to readers of this genre. He holds his readers captive by the storytelling talent few possess to the degree of a few masters. Pathos is built by the characters and the situations painted in the mind's eye as the plot develops. There are some powerful insights that will motivate any reader with an open mind.

Summary: THE MIRACLE
Review: OG AND THE RAGPICKER HAVE TOUCHED MY LIFE AND THE LIVES OF ALL OTHERS THAT I HAVE PASSED IT ON TO. THE GOD MEMORANDUM IS VERY UPLIFTING AND HELPS PICK ME UP WHEN TIMES ARE TOUGH. I HAVE BECOME A RAGPICKER OF SORTS, AND I PASS THIS BOOK ON TO ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF A SPIRITUAL UPLIFTING. THANK YOU OG AND SIMON FOR ALLOWING ME TO REALIZE THAT I AM "THE GREATEST MIRACLE IN THE WORLD."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Og Mandino, a Ragpicker by any other name.
Review: Og Mandino achieved the pinacle of his field, selling more inspirational books than any other writer in his time. Had he stopped with "The Greatest Salesman in the World," we would have all been short changed. His writing of the "Greatest Miracle in the World" surpassed all his other works in how it inspires people, but that alone wasn't enough for him to achieve.

Even with books like "The Choice" and "The Twelveth Angel," he never seemed to disappoint his readers. There was something for everyone.

Mr. Og's books aren't for just anyone, they're for everyone. Some of us just don't know it yet.

If you know of someone that has bottomed out, give them a personal copy of this book.... Put a personal inscription in it.... Help them make it through the 100 days.... Wear your ragpicker emblem in humility, but with love. Your reward is yet to come.

Summary: Thought Provoking
Review: Og Mandino did a very good job on this book. If you like books that bring you closer to God or that at least makes you think, this is a great book for you. The way he uses the ragpicker was great. He was just some old man that didn't have much, who was just out to help out others, and to try to bring them closer to God, and to help them find themeselves. This is a great book and I would recomend it to anyone interested. This is one of few book that I actually did not mind reading. It is short, sweet, and gets right to the point.
