Rating: 4 stars
Summary: For Sue Grafton and Janet Evanovich fans
Review: I have read most of Lawrence Sander's books and enjoyed them all (except for The Marlowe Chronicles). The Eighth Commandment is a little different and a welcome deviation from his other New York detective and Archie McNally themed books. Also, if you are a Sue Grafton fan and have read all of her's and looking for something similar, try this one.

Summary: An Awesome Read!
Review: I loved this book. This is the first novel I've read by Sanders and it's certainly not the last. The main character is immediatly likable and any twenty-something can relate to her. With strong integrety and a quirky sense of humor, she makes the book a breeze to read through. The mystery is fast paced and intrigues the reader with each new chapter. Nothing monumental or legendary about the writing. Just a straightforward, fast-paced mystery that will keep you company on a rainy day.

Summary: One of the best books i've read in a long time
Review: I've read hundreds of books and this is the first one that i've ever finished in one sitting. If only Mr. Sanders would change the last page the book would be perfect. Her choice of men at the end was unacceptable to me.

Summary: A flaki Sanders book
Review: If you have read other books by L. Sanders you will be dissappointed by this one.

It is a flaki book on a flaki detective, with too many repititions and not much of a plot. The suspence is there but it is not regarding the detective work (the thief is evident from the start and I kept wondering on the negligence of the detectives) it is in the heroine romantic life.

If you want a good book, buy this one, but if you want an excellent detective book buy another book by this author.

Summary: Loved all but the VERY END!
Review: Saunders does it again with the excellent characters he builds for the readers. "Dunk" makes one of his most loved and believable characters......A "who-dun-it" that kept me glued! Too bad Dunk had no taste!.....

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Now on my favorite list!
Review: This was the first book that I have read by Sanders, and I loved it. I finished it in one day. It was totally engrossing and I fell in love with his main character "Dunk". It has a fantastic plot. I just wish Dunk had made a better choice in men!
