Summary: an action tale with a political and moral conscious
Review: This is a tale very well told. I am not a mystery reader and the beginning seemed a little slow but very shortly I was gripped by the events unfolding before me. I really cared about what was going to happen, which was by no means obvious. The technical details of deep water diving were very graphic with the consequences of mistakes only adding to the suspense. This is a tale told at many levels with real characters and exciting adventures. Perhaps the best part was the end when, instead of just dropping the ending in the readers lap and shutting the book, the author brings some completion to the different threads woven into the story. This made it very satisfying to complete. I commend the author for truly "finishing" the tale.

Review: This is an exciting, fast paced story with a surprisingly interesting look at United States foreign relations over the last quarter century. Two dashing heros, an evil villian and a government conspiracy. Great fun to read!

Review: Torchlight is one of the most intelligent and well-written techothrillers you'll ever read. Hands down. And the diving sequences are truly remarkable. The author's extensive experience as a deep cold water wreck diver really shows. Highly recommended!
