Rating: Summary: Not as good as some... Review: I have to confess... to disappointment in this case. Of the half dozen or so Nancy Pickard/Jenny Cain mysteries I've devoured, this was definitely my least favorite. (For what it's worth, I.O.U. is at the top of my list!) It's hard to say what about the book didn't set well with me. The characters involved in the waterfront development project were simply difficult to like, difficult to become invested in. Nancy Pickard's character development is always good; unfortunately, that talent didn't serve me well in this particular case. I did like the conclusion of the tale, just didn't enjoy the journey as much as in the other Jenny Cain books.
