Summary: The book was exciting and turn-paging.
Review: This book was very good. It made you to turn the page and keep reading. This book was also sadening. It showed the violence that took place on the Indians and how they were driven off by the government. I think people should read this book if they like a scary/adventurous/violent type of book.

Summary: A Great Read
Review: This story, set in 19th Century Ohio, is about a boy that learns about a killer, originally a mercenary hired to move the native Americans from their home and clear the land, nicknamed Weasel. When his own father is taken by weasel, he learns all about the concept of revenge and stares evil dead in the eyes.

Summary: Unforgettable Book!
Review: This terrifing book will leave you in suspence. Nathan and his younger sister Molly are living in the woods of Ohio in 1839. They are left alone in a cabin, When a Knock. Ezra appears and leads them on a suspenseful journey to their father. They meet weasel who is an unforgetable man.He hates native americans. Weaselis lurking in the woods of Ohio for Nathan and his sister Molly. Weasel by Cynthia Defelice is a remarkable book but without a shadow of a boubt the most electrifying novel today. Cynthia Delelice leaves you in suspense after each chaper. She uses figurative langauge and clear descriptions to bring each chapter to life. I would recommend this book to boys ages 9-11.

Summary: WEASEL
Review: This was a vary good book. It is rather a short book but it is compact. It is an easy read and tells about how life was in the mid 1800s in the rural areas. It takes place in Ohio and is written from the point of view of an 11-year-old boy. Nathan and his sister Molly are home alone on the farm after their mother died, and there Pa had gown missing. They are visited by a strange looking man, Ezra, who leads them deep into the woods to find there Pa who has been badly hurt by weasel. Weasel is a man who went around killing and steeling whenever he could.
The kids and Pa stay with Ezra for a few days until Nathan goes back to the farm to feed the animals. He finds the farm trashed and most of the animals either dead or missing. Nathan knows this was done by weasel and when he is on his journey back to Ezra's he is captured by weasel. He manages to escape and weasel shoots himself in the foot. Pa gets better and they all leave Ezra and return home. Weasel had told Nathan horrible stories about cutting out Ezra's tongue and killing his wife. Now Nathan wants revenge.

Summary: It was OK.
Review: Weasal is an OK book. It all depends on what you like. It's good if you like History oriented books and it's bad if you don't. That's all I have to say.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: GREAT BOOK

Summary: Weasel is a wonderful book!
Review: Weasel is a mind boggling adventure story about a man and an enemy. Ezra, a man who formerly worked with Weasel, shows up at Nathan and Molly's cabin door. He is holding thier mothers locket in his hand. Why, you may ask, is something you must find out on your own. Ezra says nothing to them. Why doesn't he speak? You'll also have to figure that out for yourself by reading the book. Cynthia DeFelice keeps you on the edge of your seat with this book. Its full of surprises you would never expect to encounter. I suggest this book to anyone that is in need of an adventure story.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: An OK Book.
Review: Weasel is a suspenseful book. At least at the beginning. It was suspenseful at the beginning, but as the story went on, the suspense dropped. I loved the beginning, but what stopped me from giving this book 5 stars was the ending. The ending was just plain corny! Other than that it's a good book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Weasel is like all of her books
Review: Weasel is a very annoying book! The back tells you all about the book, and when you are reading it you get really annoyed waiting for what you know is going to happen. Also, I read two of her books at once. They were Lostman's River and Weasel. What I found was that it was the exact same situation except in different places- Weasel in Idaho, Lostman's River in the Florida Keys. They both have a boy whose father is scared for some reason, someting that will change the boys life forever, both boys are scared of the badguy in the story and must do something brave to get away from them, AND the two books both have the same moral: Killing something won't make the pain go away. That was the main reason that I gave this book a five. She uses the same story over and over again until you know whats going to happen just from reading the back!
