Summary: An inside look at the dismantling of America
Review: The fact that this book is not particularly well written quickly recedes into the distant background, as the sleazy story of the grimy group that comprised the Clinton Administration captures and holds the reader's attention almost from the very first page.

Published by Washington's Regnery Publishing, Inc. in 1996, the book contains 222 powerful pages of inside information compiled by the FBI agent/author, during his tour of duty at the Clinton White House.

Each of the eleven chapters is introduced by an apt quote from Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals: A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals", and from "George Washington's Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior in Company and Conversation."

An interesting contrast: George Washington, famous for the cherry tree incident and "I cannot tell a lie" as a personal philosophy, v. Saul Alinsky, famous for nothing at all, but garishly reflecting the Clinton's "adjustable ethics and moral relativism."

The book exposes a White House obsessed with the latter and condemned by author Aldrich, thus: "Without ethical men and women in government, the pomp and circumstance is a sham and power is merely abused." Blow jobs in the Oval Office are not mentioned.

Among the eleven chapter rubrics one finds: Rose Law--North; The Unraveling of Vince Foster; Drugs; The Travel Office Tragedy; all looking at different Clinton Administration scandals.

The Epilogue quotes Hillary Clinton as saying, to the Secret Service: "Stay the f--k back, stay the f--k away from me. Don't come within ten yards of me, or else!" Sounds like a threat to me.

The most remarkable feature of the book is on page 205, where it is revealed that the government's investigation of the Clintons recommended denying Bill and Hillary: 1- security clearance, 2- permanent White House passes, and 3- access to the White House.

Now that the Clinton infection of the White House is ended, and the "most ethical administration in history" slithers off into the sunset -- or to China -- this book remains as a reminder of their eight-year effort to dismantle America.

Summary: What if only a fraction of this stuff was true?
Review: I absolutely love reading about the "most moral and ehtical" administration in history. Whitewater, Filegate, Travelgate, Chinagate, Buddhist monks forking over cash, special prosecutors, Paula Jones, Monica, Kathleen, stained dresses, phone sex, cigars, drug dealers at White House functions, impeachment, acquittal, and last-minute skanky pardons: now THAT'S entertainment! I kind of miss not having the Clintons around--there was never a dull moment, that's for sure.

I first read Gary Aldrich's book, UNLIMITED ACCESS, years ago, and have since reread it. The author, who was strong-armed out of the FBI after clashing with the Clinton administration, provides an entertaining read about widespread corruption, incompetence, and silly shenanigans on the part of the idealogues from Arkansas. From stonewalling background checks to abusing security access, the Clinton people made sure that every day was a bad day for the FBI staff at the White House. Aldrich relates so many anecdotes and accounts that I found myself in a state of disbelief (after all, there couldn't be that much corruption); yet, if only 10 percent of the author's allegations were true, that's enough to provide an eye-opener to even the most ardent Clinton-lover.

That Aldrich has an agenda--that the author has nothing but contempt and disgust for the Clintons--is more than obvious as the reader moves through this book. Some of the personal attacks went over the top ("Clinton has the face of a drinker."), and some of the "rumors" passed along by Aldrich are downright laughable (e.g., sneaking the President out of the White House so he could entertain his harlots at the local Marriott), yet the author presents enough firsthand information to make any reader question the competence and integrity of the new administration in town. UNLIMITED ACCESS is a refreshing "blast from the past," a reminder of the goofiness that was in power for eight years, and a sigh of relief that our nation no longer has to endure such embarrassment.

Summary: Book in need of an editor
Review: This was a book with much potential that missed the mark. What could have been an intelligent look behind the scenes came off as a prissy, uptight, whine-fest. Alldrich sites somelaughable petty greivances among the real ones.
Going in, I knew it was a book with a slant and accepted that with an open mind. Upon reading, I felt it needed a better editor to tighten up the truth from editorial griping.
He repeatedly states that his job was to issue a background check/report, without conclusions or judgement, for others to evaluate. Then he gives sample reports at the end on the Clintons; full of petty commentary. A good editor should have had him doing some rewrites.

Summary: Aldrich's book shows the typical pattern of clinton's deceit
Review: Gary Aldrich further exposed the Bill Clinton pattern of "investigate the allegations, but make sure you don't find any dirt". It was as frustrating to read about an FBI agent who was just trying to do his job as it is to read about an independent council & an Iraqi inspection team who are just trying to do their job today. Aldrich is very sincere and keeps the reader interested with such issues which include file tampering, Clinton's association w/ convicted felons, poor treatment of the permanent staff at the White house, and Hillary Clinton's own vindictive nature. This book is a must read for everybody who wants to know the truth about the Clinton White House.

Summary: Clinton's High Treason & Crimes Vindicate Gary's Book!
Review: Finally got around to reading this book. Had this volume been written by anyone other than a decorated veteran FBI agent, it would be too incredible for belief! Rational people already understood that the Clintons were anti-establishment radicals being value corrupt elitists. This book highlights that fact, from inside the White House by an FBI Security officer and at close range!

Now, with the cascade of breaking NEWS about Chinagate and the President's apparent high treason in the Oval Office, Aldrich has been proven right. One of Gary Aldrich's major concerns as outlined in this book, was the Clinton's destruction of the critical White House security system. This not only allowed Hillary's dubious leftist anti-American cronies free access, but also permitted Chinese Communist agents, wanted international criminals and convicted drug dealers free entry via cash contributions with a direct route through the White House to the President of the United States.

The Clinton's devoted minions and hired media thugs worked full time to surpress this informative book and to personally savage Gary Aldrich.

Truth and ongoing revelation to Clinton's deep corruptions have turned the tables! Aldrich now stands totally vindicated and this book becomes even more relevant than when first published.

The Clinton's depressing legacy will without doubt be a lesson to all democratic people that they must maintain high standards in their choice of candidates who eventually become leaders. We must never again allow the type of low minded, polically corrupt and ethically bankrupt characters as are the Clintons to ever occupy the highest office of the Presidency and White House again.

Thank you Gary Aldrich . . .Your book is of good service and you sir, are an American Patriot!

Summary: Fun Filled It is...Fact Filled well that's questionable
Review: Of course if you are on the right youkind of cheer, if you are
in the middle-left like me and giggle. Kiss and Tell has always been that sort of thing. When something is written by a disgruntled person they will certainly mention everything bad and throw in a little extra colour too. It certainly is aimed to take Bill and Hill down a bit, whether it does is an open question. The main feeling I get is a guy who liked the old way of doing things and who finds the new way pretty disgusting.

The big lack is there is no real insight just a lot of complaining and bad Billy noises. I mean it would be nice
if I got some way to see into the Clinton's character I would have been happier. I mean going on and on about how snarly and cold Hilary was . How the Clinton staffers were poorly dressed does not show them to be incompetent or dishonest.

More about the FBI's role would have been better....I mean one is supposed to focus on a book's content in a review. What I feel compelled to do is focus on what I had hoped for that didn't happen. Like how did the Bureau fucntion, was it hampred by politics etc.

My thoughts are, if you are on the right biy this book buy this book it will give you pleanty of Bad Billy stories. Elsewise look elsewhere for examples of Clinton's character both positive and negative

Summary: Unlimited Hypocrisy
Review: The liberal-at-all-costs negative reviews by Amazon.com's own reviewer, Library Journal, and other know-it-all elites clash strongly with the views of normal, honest Americans just below who have read the book, have no political axes to grind and no agendas to prop up. The wrongheaded, truth-be-damned hypocrisy of the simpering liberal literary establishment was clearly on display in its hatchet-job reviews and negative tone about this Gary Aldrich book about Clinton vs. its glowing, fawning, "good messenger" reviews of Bush-hater-of-the-month-club books by Richard Clarke and Joseph Wilson.

Summary: Bonnie and Clyde
Review: Wes Pruden of The Washington Times once referred to Bill and Hillary Clinton as "the Bonnie and Clyde of American politics." I had always thought of them as a modern equivalent of the Borgias, but I think Pruden's quip was more accurate. The Borgias at least were nobility. There was nothing noble about the Clintons; they were ill-mannered, self-serving opportunists concerned only with power and wealth for themselves.

It's been eight years since this book was released but it should still fill any loyal American with rage to read how the Clintons ran the White House. Aldrich had worked in the prim and proper Bush White House where loyalty to country and traditional White House protocol was the order of the day. The Clintons changed all that. They ran the White House like an Arkansas mafia where the only absolute requirement for staff was loyalty to Bill and Hillary and to hell with the country. It was all about them.

At a time when no "professional journalist" seemed interested in the Clinton scandals, except for the redoubtable R. Emmett Tyrrell of The American Spectator, Aldrich was one of the first to come out with a truthful book about the Clintons. Not being a professional writer, he had no left wing bias but only his FBI training and loyalty to America to guide him. Aldrich's job was to do background checks on White House staff. Most of the book relates how the Clinton staff avoided and dodged FBI interviews. Indeed, most were totally unfit to work in the White House due to criminal backgrounds involving illegal financial schemes and drugs. But there they were from the beginning, dozens of them, from Bernard Nussbaum to DeeDee Meyers. All had daily access to top secret documents, and none of them with any more security rights than a temporary pass that would have been issued to any visitor.

It is obvious by the author's tone that he was thoroughly disgusted with the entire Clinton administration. Aldrich resorts to some of the usual gossip that was always circulating, like Bill's midnight trysts at Washington hotels where he would sneak off to meet some babe, leaving the Secret Service detail at the White House. What a challenge Bill Clinton must have been for them. And Hillary too, making them walk at least ten paces behind her, she would shout obscenities at them in her imperious tone ordering them to stay away from her.

This book gives the reader a hint of the ineptitude and slovenly manner of the early Clinton White House. Bill Clinton was totally unprepared for the presidency. It's almost like he never expected to win. He had no plan and no idea what to do. And after he did win, why did he give so much power to Hillary? Many speculate that he made a deal with her. She would keep quiet about Bill's womanizing and he would give her control of domestic affairs. The author alludes to this although he could not have had first-hand knowledge. He could, however, see that Hillary had almost total control of the White House.

During the 1992 campaign Bill Clinton said that his would be "the most ethical administration in American history." In fact it was probably the most corrupt. Aldrich gives us a good look at how it started out all wrong. (Read "The Final Days" by the late Barbara Olsen to see how it only got worse.)

Summary: Unsavory truths
Review: Although the this book seems a little old, when political
events unfold on a daily basis, it is a very truthful and
candid look at the early years of the Clinton White House
years and the sloppy, self-centered occupants. It would
be funny to read about Bill Clinton trying to run and hide
from an angry, vulgar, cursing Hillary if it wasn't so sad.
Many insights into the type of people who worked in that White
House and their casual attitude toward their work and the American public, and their callous disregard for basic security
for both the President and the US.
And it's too bad everyone who might consider voting for Hillary
isn't required to at least read what is noted here about her
behavior and character. Her self-absorbed, continual efforts
to benefit herself, to the detriment of absolutely everyone
else have to be eye-opening.
But most of her fans aren't interested in the truth, but real
students of politics will want to learn the truth. Which is
presented here by a first-hand observer.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This book is great reading and VERY informative. It is hard to book the book down. Some would find this book a bit on the hostile/harsh side, but after reading it and seeing the "exhibits", one could only come to the conclusion that this is 100% factual.
